Team work is an inevitable life experience. Working as a team helps you to develop lot of skills. We shared our thought and ideas and gained knowledge. There were lot of discussion and at last we made a draft poster on how it should look. We also developed our skills in certain software. At the beginning we tried to make our poster in PowerPoint as it would be easier for us. Later as we go further we realized that the whole poster cannot be made from PowerPoint. So we all discussed together and came to a conclusion to go with Microsoft Publisher. As we don’t know anything about publisher we watched lot of tutorial in you tube about how to make a poster in Publisher. We also watched many videos about how a poster should be designed and presented. After watching all those videos we came to a conclusion to go with Publisher. At the beginning we practised what we saw in videos and did as it is said in video. As time passes we gained confidence and learnt lot of things in Publisher. We learnt about all the tools and practised each and every tool how it works. Later after gaining knowledge about Publisher we started to design our poster. At first we tried to make a good background for the poster and no one was satisfied with the background what came up with the publisher. We then tried to make a background which was designed by the Toshiba. Even then we faced a difficulty in making that as background. We got a background were we had Toshiba logo in the centre and bigger arrows on each side. We wanted to remove those arrows and leave the background all alone with the Toshiba’s logo. We tried to remove in publisher but we couldn’t do it without disturbing the background texture. So we came to a decision to use Photoshop to remove the arrows alone. We found most of the Photoshop tools are similar to the tools present in publisher so that didn’t bring many difficulties in using Photoshop. But we learnt few more tools in Photoshop addition to those what we learnt in Publisher. In Photoshop we learnt about a tool named clone which helped us to create a poster as we imagined.
