The Relationship of Moral Beliefs in “Antigone” and Instrumental Conditioning
“Antigone”, a tragedy written by Sophocles in approximately four hundred forty one BC, contains multiple examples of moral versus social beliefs. Just like the moral and social beliefs in today's society, people had very strong standpoints on several different issues. With that being said, there are multiple issues having to do with moral and social standpoints in society today, an example of one of these is instrumental conditioning. Instrumental conditioning is useful in improving an individual’s behavior. Because it is a learning process that involves the subject linking behavior with consequences, much of what individuals learn is the result of such associations.
