Executive Summary
This review is mainly involved with the ideal promotion for Leading wholesalers, the retail sequence business. In this review I have mentioned that on what reasons the Leading wholesalers has separated its industry into different sections, how they existing the item in the brain of the customers. I have interviewed the industry and recognize the aspects which are impacting the outcome of the Organization. And after this procedure we choose the suppliers as customers of leading wholesalers.
Introduction
The Reflective Log helps in evaluating the learning experience that took place during the internship period. It presents critical insights on the entire learning experience and presents clear reflection. It helps in analyzing how far the individual has achieved, progressed, developed new skill, or the internship experience has change the learning style and enhanced skills for future growth and professional development. It is strictly about skill evaluation and critical study of skill improvement achieved through work experience (Bridges, 1999).
In this assignment the reflective log is specifically included to help in systematic thinking and gap identification which is essential for career growth by improving positive thinking. In this analysis Gibbs Reflective Cycle may be referred as it is helpful in identifying and analyzing the gaps in the skill and also intimates ways to deal with these gaps (Hickson, 2011). The model also helps in apt selection of strategies and identifies ways in which one should proceed or adapt to a particular process of growth so as to enjoy a defined career growth.

Figure 1: Gibbs Reflective Cycle
Source: (Brookes.ac.uk, 2015)
Learning Researcher Graham Gibbs introduced this model in 1988 which was developed on the model of Kolb’s experimental learning cycle. The structured learning reflection in Gibbs model include six steps, Description, Feeling, Evaluation, Analysis, Conclusion and Action Plan. In my reflective log I would therefore apply the Gibbs Reflective cycle to identify my drawbacks and develop strategies to meet the gaps (Gibbs, 1988).
After evaluating my performance based on the internship CV, it may be studied that, after completing MBA with Corporate Finance and Global marketing I have joined Leading Wholesalers. As far as my job role of buyer is concerned, my responsibility as a buyer is to plan and reflect the products for the retail outlets so that the items are sold and profit is earned through the transaction. As a wholesale buyer at Leading Wholesalers I have been handling the cash and carry business of spirits, beverages, tobacco, confectionary and soft drinks. The retailer and the wholesaler sell a variety of consumable products. Where my role as a wholesale buyer includes selection of tobacco, beverages and spirits as per consumer taste and preference or following the market trend, maintain store policy and also prepare financial budget. It is my responsibility to understand the customer need and then meet their demand to maximize profit. Keeping at pace with the changing trend is also necessary. The work is mainly controlled by the demand as per the season, for example, in summer, beer and light beverages will be in high demand, on the contrary wines are in great demand during winter or specifically in the month of February. My ability to understand the consumer demand has helped me in the trade.
Exposure to working in direct contact with the consumers helped me immensely which would enable my future career growth and development. Staying in direct contact with the customer, I have learnt ways of understanding and satisfying consumer need in the highly competitive business world. Such as an experience will undoubtedly help me study consumer behaviour one of the most critical aspect of business developing strategies, and therefore could create unique strategies for business growth by meeting consumer demand. Product pricing, customer retention, customer engagement are some of the key topic in product and marketing in business. The job follows a yearly calendar that begins with analysis of the consumer buying pattern and prediction of future trends, reviewing sales on regular basis, managing of product stock, change stock as per demand, meet suppliers and negotiate as when needed, write report, forecast yearly sale, collect feedback from customer, preparing presentation and report and participate in various types of promotional activity.
An experience of working in such a defined marketing domain along with providing assistance in budgeting gave me an edge in the market therefore, when I shall be looking for a change in a prominent brand, such as Tesco, Sainsbury, UB, Unilever, LG, Chateau Indage, Colgate Palmolive etc. irrespective of the nature of the product I have complete knowledge of customer handling and learnt ways to meet consumer demand. Handling of logistics and stock and meeting with suppliers have further fine tuned my performance and will help in showcasing my work experience in interview session. I have also complete knowledge of working with MS Office and other programming languages such as C++, therefore I have successfully maintained the logistics and stocks through Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.
Besides this it may be identified that in the professional world, knowledge and expertise of only consumer behaviour and marketing will though give an edge in the domain, but will soon prove ineffective in encouraging career growth or promotion since I have very little experience of team work and team management. I have studied about team building techniques in my MBA course, but during my trainee period got little exposure to work in the team. As a buyer I was more customers focused and got little time to communicate with the team. I had reported to my senior and stay focused in product marketing. Therefore an experience in working in a team is essential for career growth. Knowledge and practical experience in team management, leadership, motivation is essential to handle the product marketing and enhancing business. Thus People management skills are to be improved through training.
Five Reflections at work place
1) Reflection
What Happened?
Once there was employees sick call which gradually led to lack of employees, since I was the individual accountable of handling the employees and rota’s. Our supervisor tried to handle the employees but since one individual was short which led to undelivered deliveries. My job started from 9 am and since I was new to this scenario and to whatever encounter I had I tried myself to help my hand to the employees but since it was too much delayed lot of orders were already placed. I got an idea to contact the other shop administrator and requested them for extra employees to get cover for our employees. Luckily the other shop administrator handled to organize the employees in Half an hour time, which came and assisted us to type out the purchases quickly.
Learning from the experience
What I have learned from the scenario is appropriate interaction and telling the elderly people about any problem promptly so that the problems don’t get complicated.
Action plans
My director has chosen to give me honing on the best way to adapt to testing individuals. I've likewise talked about through with her how to adapt to an issue better and when to contact upon assistance from her on time. As I tackled the issue my director was cheerful additionally with the way I utilized my past experience to take care of this issue in spite of the fact that it was minimal late for that yet in the long run it helped us in a decent manner.
With this I will try and learn and try to use this experience in a good way in future in order to minimize the problem arising due to shortage of staff.
2) Reflection

What happened?
Whenever you have different individualities cooperating under the same ceiling, there is limited to be rubbing every now and then. Groups operating under due date and under pressure may be more apt to have flare-ups of emotions and other problems. While theoretically it is possible for everyone to get along, it hardly ever happens. This is somewhat happened with me and my colleagues. When we had some pressure from our higher authorities me and my colleagues due to work load had a argument.

Learning from the experience
What I learnt from this above experience is that when someone is in stress or pressurized its always better to be calm down and talk less and focus more to relax your mind so that this type of situations are avoided.

Action plans
Presenting coaching to help workers understand how to handle work pressure and get along with other individuals can be very valuable in managing this task.
With the above experience I would like to use this experience in future in order to minimize stress level and to avoid getting into any arguments with colleagues and try to balance the work load.

3) Reflection
What happened?
Customers carry another level of task into the workplace. While many clients that you deal with on a regular foundation will be courteous and knowing, there is usually a feature that is aggressive and hard to deal with. This can make disappointment among workers as well as supervisors and company entrepreneurs. Something of this type happened with our company, when an old lady got aggressive and started to throw things at the floor, our team went to her and asked for assistance but she didn’t cooperate and the issue went on for a long time. After sometime my manager came up to help her and assist her with which she started to calm down.
Learning from the experience
With the above incident that happened I try to help the customer as much as I can in the best way. Because customer satisfaction is a very important part of business role.
Action plan
While the idea that the client is always right is an important belief to adhere to, it is also necessary to practice workers and supervisors in managing difficult customers and clients.
With the above reflection the experience that I got is, how to handle aggressive customer and how to manage this type of customer in future.
4) Reflection
Employee’s motivation straight affects the efficiency of an organization. If workers are missing in motivation and energy, possibilities are they are not doing their tasks successfully and, as such, the organization is struggling what performs for one worker may not work for another. When our manager hired an employee who lacked energy and motivation do his work. The whole team used to get affected because of one person. As a result of which the productivity level also use to go down for the team.
Learning from the experience
Employee motivation is an important part in workplace, employees should get motivation trainings and also reward management will help to some extent in motivating and inspiring employees.
Action plan
To be able to surmount this task, supervisors and organization employees like me need to discover several different motivators that entice an extensive range of workers - such as financial benefits, compensated time off or even free food benefits.
With the above reflection I would like to use this above reflection in future while motivating employees and encouraging staff.
5) Reflection
Once there was a delivery order that was placed the order came up to me since I didn’t finish my previous order some of the items of the previous order were left on the counter they got mixed up with the new order and the delivery eventually got messed up. Learning from the experience
What I learnt from this experience is the mismanagement of the delivery orders and the wrong doing of me.
Action Plan
The action plan of this above experience is to manage things properly and to avoid any confusions and mismanagement.
With the above reflection I would like to use this reflection in my future and avoid mismanagement which will decrease a lot of trouble and problems.
Conclusion

Therefore my core skills that may be identified after evaluation of my job responsibility in parent company are excellent communication skill; I have convincing ability that helps in developing a bond with the consumers. My administrative knowledge and expertise demand special mention as it reflects my organizational skill. I can work independently and have developed team management skills through academic studies, evaluating case studies and from practical exposure. Thus after completing the internship in the particular company, I have personally developed as per the plan identified and evolved as a far more tolerant, analytical, open, diplomatic, assertive, self aware and thinking individual who is aware of his expectations from the work selected and have identified a defined path for growth.

...Chapter-1 Introduction 1.0 ------------------------------------------------- Introduction The industry of investment banking is large and far-reaching. It is complex and confusing. It is mysterious and even frightening. Fortunes and lives depend on it. What happens behind the walls of an investment bank each day can affect millions of families, even entire nations. In case of Capital market investment bank plays great role to maintain its efficiency. The journey of Bangladesh capital market is not too old. Still it has a long way to go. The capital market of Bangladesh has yet to find a solid ground and the investor confidence in the market is significantly high, especially after the stock market crash in1996. Observing the poor performance of the market over the years the government has taken initiatives to reform the market. One of such step is to allow banks and non-banking financial institutions offering other financial and banking services to open up their investment banking wing. Investment banks facilitate flows of funds and allocations of capital. They are financial intermediaries, the critical link between users and providers of capital. They bring together those who need money to invest with those who have money to invest and they make the markets that allocate capital and regulate price in these financial transactions. One of the renowned names in Bangladesh financial market is IDLC Finance Limited. It started its operation in the year 1985 as the...
