Interpersonal Communication Analysis Paper: Liar Liar
The relationship that I chose to analyze for my interpersonal communication paper is the one regarding my ex-boyfriend Stephen and myself. It was the summer before freshman year when I met Stephen; I can remember my friend, Valentina, introducing him to me on that hot summer night after an all-star softball game. We began to date when the school year started in the fall and continued to date for three years. Stephen was a year ahead of me so at the time we broke up it was his freshman year of college and my senior year of high school. The reason that I think that Stephen and I broke up was that we were in different places in our lives and wanted time for ourselves. Alexsa was a girl on my basketball team that I was never really close with but we were both going through breakups at the time, which allowed for us to bond. A couple months after Stephen and I went separate ways he began to text me again saying that he missed me and wanted me to be in his life once again. Within the time that Stephen and I were not talking Alexsa and I became extremely close. She helped me become more independent and made me stop being a pathetic girl that was upset because of a boy. When I let her know that Stephen was being to contact me once again she told me the ugly truth about Stephen and the girls I once called my friends.
