Interpersonal communication means the exchange of information between two or more people. How we communicate is one of the most fundamental aspects of our lives (15). Every person brings his or her unique experiences, perspectives and interpretations to any form of communicating (15). What and how we communicate is a choice, we choose how we will communicate, using words, silence or body language is all forms of communication. Couple all of this with the fact that everyone comes from a different culture and you have an eclectic and interesting mix of ingredients that will impact our ability to communicate effectively (15).
