In relation to supply chain management, the authors placed a huge emphasis on explaining the changes in supply chain management over time; more specifically its improvements. As identified in the reading, the cause for the improvements in supply chain management had everything to do with the inclusion of information technology systems in the interworking’s of the supply chain.
