...PROJECT IN RESEARCH CLASS Lance J. Santos VII-Villa I learn many in research class and I got a new idea how to report. First I learn what is the research is and I learn what is the other word of research.I learn too the benefits we gain when we are doing a research paper. Our teacher teach us too that we may put a date in every lesson we copy and she tell us what is characteristic of a good research we know that a good research have this characteristics; -5 to 15 pages -scholarly article -written by researcher like student -it should follow format -it should show the stand of the other either he/she is agree or disagree -can be originally made -can be an evaluator of a previously done search -parts must be complete That’s the characteristics of a good research and we lean to the 7 steps in preparing a research work -defined your question -develop research strategy and locate resources -use effective search technique -read critically seek meaning -understand the communication process and site sources -evaluate sources And our teacher tell us the kinds of research. -research is controlled-it should be working with variable -research is empirical-it should be reserved by observe in the same manner -research is analytical- it should be alone to avoid error in the same. -research is objective-logically all findings should be data -research is originally work-data gathered in primary soures I learn too how we report and gathered...

...“Feasibility of melted wax crayon (Heavy hydrocarbon) to create candle.” Researchers: Ivan Tabaquero Jeilyka Briones Kamille Dioso Adviser: Caroline Bulatao A candle is a solid block or cylinder of wax with an embedded wick, which is lit to provide light, and sometimes heat. Today, most candles are made from paraffin. Candles can also be made from beeswax, soy, other plant waxes, and tallow (a by-product of beef-fat rendering). Gel candles are made from a mixture of paraffin and plastic. Before the invention of electric lighting candles and oil lamps were commonly used for illumination. In areas without electricity, they are still used routinely Abstract Table of Contents Chapter One………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….… 5 Introduction ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… 6 a. ...A Brick is a block, or a single unit of a ceramic material used in masonry construction. Typically bricks are stacked together, or laid as brickwork using various kinds ofmortar to hold the bricks together and make a permanent structure. Bricks are typically produced in common or standard sizes in bulk quantities. They have been regarded as one of the longest lasting and strongest building materials used throughout history. In the general sense, a "brick" is a standard-sized weight-bearing building unit. Bricks are laid in horizontal courses, sometimes dry and sometimes with mortar. When the term is used in this sense, the brick might be made from clay, lime-and-sand, concrete, or shaped stone. In a less clinical and more colloquial sense, bricks are made from dried earth, usually from clay-bearing subsoil. In some cases, such as adobe, the brick is merely dried. More commonly it is fired in a kiln of some sort to form a true ceramic. A seashell or sea shell, also known simply as a shell, is a hard, protective outer layer created by an animal that lives in the sea. The shell is part of the body of the animal. Empty seashells are often found washed up on beaches by beachcombers. The shells are empty because the animal has died and the soft parts have been eaten by another animal or have rotted out. Apart from mollusk shells, other shells that can be found on beaches are those of barnacles, horseshoe crabs and brachiopods. Marine annelid worms in the family Serpulidae create...

PACALDO Biology Teacher Chapter I Introduction Rationale Abstract: This investigatory project was conducted to test the affectivity of organic and synthetic fertilizers when apply on okra plant. It also aims to test whether, which is better to use between the two fertilizers. In order to conduct the study we have used okra seeds, polyethylene bag and cemetery soil as organic fertilizer, synthetic fertilizer, and black soil, labeled it as setup A (Organic Fertilizer) setup B (Synthetic Fertilizer). Then we observed the changes in the plant for 1 week. After several days, we observed some changes in the plant like the increasing number of its height and leaves. We therefore conclude that the organic fertilizer we used is better than the synthetic fertilizer because it provides faster growth of the plant. Background of the study: ...

...investigatory Project The Feasibility of Saltwater as an Alternate Source of Energy Chapter I Introduction A. Background of the Study Philippines is a country that is surrounded by water. Saltwater is very abundant in our country; so, this study tries to find more uses of the saltwater. In this study, saltwater is used as a battery of a light bulb to prove that it can be a source of energy. This will possibly help solve the energy crisis that our country is suffering now. A compound can produce electric energy when it has enough oxygen in it. Saltwater is a kind of a compound that can possibly produce energy. Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) is also used in this study, to have more oxygen in the compound. Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a very pale blue liquid which appears colorless in a dilute solution, slightly more viscousthan water. It is a weak acid. It has strong oxidizing properties and is therefore a powerful bleaching agent that is mostly used for bleaching paper, but has also found use as a disinfectant, as an oxidizer, as anantiseptic, and in rocketry (particularly in high concentrations as high-test peroxide or HTP) as a monopropellant, and in bipropellantsystems.[1] The oxidizing capacity of hydrogen peroxide is so strong that the chemical is considered a highly reactive oxygen species. Hydrogen peroxide is naturally produced as a byproduct of oxygen metabolism, and virtually all organisms possess enzymes known asperoxidases, which harmlessly and catalytically...

...Introduction The investigatory project designs to help indirectly the common people on the use of indigenous floral resources such as Alstonia Scholaris that serves as a material to regulate and inhibit biotic potential of the individual. 1.1 Background of the Study The country’s current population is estimated at 93 million people (NSO Annual Report: 2010) where about 65 percent are living in urban area and experience poverty due to the usual family practice of giving birth. Pro-RH Bill lawmakers have presented the effective measures to control the growing population and provided alternative ways to maintain reproductive health and plausible actions to that program. Amidst all the programs, poor families are seen and cannot sustain the basic necessities of their children and depriving them from enjoying the fullness what is due to for the kids. Young women whose ages range from 14-25 often experience fast hormonal secretions that usually associated with active and rapid biotic potential. Early sexual maturity becomes a primordial factor for fertility and early teenage pregnancy. This then is the scenario that strive the researchers to conduct experiment that provide information on the use of Alstonia Scholaris as a viable material for controlling population. 1.2 Statement of the Problem The project undertaken by the researchers on the Alstonia Scholaris extract as applied to “rabbit” sought to answer the following questions: 1. What is the effect of Alstonia scholaris...

...Chapter IV. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Investigatory projects are projects intended to knowing discoveries in Science. They are being researched, experimented and studied thoroughly. After several attempts and activities, effects have been finally seen by the researcher. This chapter presents all of the results of the researcher’s experiment, the further effects seen and even the flaws that sprouted while the study was going on. Based on the study conducted, the following results were observed: Binding solutions are needed so that the fibers stick together. In this case, liquid starch was used as binding material. To improve the color of the paper, chlorine was used.. Sticky slurry will not produce good results as this produced thick paper. It is necessary to add plenty of water to the mixture in the basin so that water drain through the screen and leave a mat of randomly interwoven fibers that is laid down. The screen should be tightly attached to the mold to get an even distribution of the fibers in the solution. Uneven distribution of the slurry in the wire screen produced uneven sheet of paper so it is important to slosh around the mold to form a uniform thin coating. The type of material to be used is essential in drying the fibers because using glass and other materials make the fibers stick to it. Formica or felt sheet made of wool does not stick to the fiber. The resulting handmade papers were later compared in terms of color and appearance. The table shows...

...“Vinegar Battery” INTRODUCTION We all know that the world is now facing an energy crisis and everyone is trying to do something about that. I noticed in our electricity bill that we are paying much for it. So, I came up with this investigatory project as an alternative source of electricity. This is simple and can be homemade. . Now you can show everyone that electrical energy or electricity can be made from air and vinegar. After all, vinegar are freely available everywhere. Also, this will be useful if there is brownout and science model for elementary students like me. First, we need to get the material for the project. Here is the list: 1. A miniature board to mount the miniature base – it can be a piece of thick plywood. 2. Plastic container small 3. Miniature light bulb (low voltage, low current) 4. Pair of insulated solid copper wire 5. 2 Pair of alligator clips 6. Galvanized nails – (zinc electrodes) it can be found in hardware stores. 7. Copper wires – (copper electrodes) 8. Screws for the miniature base 9. Vinegar – 4% acidic solution Procedures: 1. Remove the plastic insulation of about one inch from both ends of the wires. 2. Connect the end of red wire to red alligator clips for both ends. Do the same for the black wire with the black alligator clips. 3. Loosen the screws on both contacts of the bulb holder. Place one end of the red alligator clip on right screw and connect the black alligator clip on the left screw...
