Irena Sendler: Holocaust Savior
Hurry she'd say before they realize your gone. A woman named Irena Sendler was a holocaust savior. The holocaust was an act of hate against jews. Adolf Hitler was the leader/creator of the holocaust. Irena Sendler saved saved men,women, and children.
Irena Sendler was a an amazing rescuer of children during the Holocaust.During the time of the holocaust Irena was a senior administrator in the Warsaw social welfare department.That meant that she had access to get to and from the ghettos whenever she pleased. When she would visit she would come with food, clothing, and medicines.“This remarkable woman defied the Nazis and saved 2,500 Jewish children by smuggling them out of the Warsaw Ghetto” (Irena Sendler). Some men women and children were reunited with their families but sadly many weren't and went to live with polish people.To sneak them out of the ghettos she would put children in ambulances. And when they were in the ambulances she would hide them under stretchers.They could also escape through the courthouse that was guarded by germans,and if a child spoke good enough polish they would be let through. Another way is if a child was extremely ill, or pretending to be ill they could actually be moved in the ambulance somewhere and it would be legal.
