...My name is Rosemary and I am not your typical person. During my free time I like to stumble in the woods or try to appear sneaky in town. The reason I do it is? Usually I am looking for Tupperware containers. Sometimes it could be a tiny little container the size of my pinky nail. I find them, sign the log and if the container is big enough I leave a small little trinket. I’ve been doing this for a few years now and I’ve found close to 1,000 such container. Sometimes I even have to solve a puzzle to find them. Most of my friends that do this don’t even know what I look like. Also they do not know my real name. They just know me as TrailSteamer. What is this craziness I speak of? Simple, it’s called geocaching. ------------------------------------------------- I started geocaching as a way to lose weight. I have lost a little and I know I am more toned then I use to be. But I am still what people would call overweight. I prefer to be called curvy, womanly, or better yet just down right sexy. There is just more to me to love. I would probably lose more weight if I if I did not make such kick ass food. I currently work at a cupcake shop in the small town I live in. I work there to pay the bills while I’m working on psychology degree. I want to work with women who were in abusive relationships. For some reason I have never told my friends about my hobby or as I like to call it my other life. However, things in my world of geocaching is about to get interesting. Rosie couldn’t...

...the population is governed by two main age groups: Middle-aged and old people. They don’t give two hoots about the youth. They run almost everything. From clothes to food to that little plastic part on the edge of our shoelaces. Having had to walk 10 miles just to get to the post office, back in their day, the elderly and the middle-aged should be given much more credit than they are due. The “Baby-Boomers” took the world by storm. They have been possibly the most influential generation the world has yet to know. If youths nowadays believe that they have some sort of status in the world, why haven’t they done anything about it?? Actually, some kids have. Jane Aldridge and Mavi Anderson are two young aspiring bloggers, because that’s a real job… They have both been in the blogging biz for quite some time and both have some sort of standing in the fashion world. But do they really? These mini...

...American Culture Values Keith Byrd University of Phoenix Ann Fongheiser 1-25-10 American Culture Values American Culture is a combination of history, traditions, holidays, customs, religious beliefs and values. It also encompasses spirits, arts - to include visual, musical, and dance, cinema, literature and food. American Culture has been heavily influenced by the Europeans, British, and other Eastern World Civilizations. Our National holidays, sporting events, military and even our government all have been influenced by Eastern World Civilization. Our architectural designs, cars, fashion, and firearms all have Eastern influences. Calendars are a major influence on holidays and US history and religious traditions. National patriarchs, US history and Religious traditions are all a part of the reason that the United States observes holidays and traditions. National holidays like Washington’s Birthday, Independence Day and Christmas are just a few of the traditions and holidays that are influenced by Religion, National patriarchs and US history. In 1879, Washington's Birthday was declared a National holiday by an act of Congress. In 1968, the Uniform Holiday Act started to commemorate Washington's birthday from February 22 to the third Monday in February, which is now know in the American Culture as "President's Day." Independence Day, also known as the fourth of July, is the day that we celebrate in commemoration of the...

...of fashion is versatile and cool yet aggressive. Detailed below are three outfits that express my one of a kind style. The Bond is a suit; The Polo is a casual look that I sport and The Surfer is my warm weather any day garb but first let’s reflect on where my style started. When I was a wee lad my parents dressed me. Back then my style was probably little boy blue but as I grew into a teen, I watched how my daddy and my uncles dressed. I remember once my uncle told me, that I looked like I was dressed straight from a mannequin. I didn’t know if this was good or bad at the time. He went on to show me the details of his tailor made suit. What I remembered the most back then is that his name was sewn on the inside of the jacket. That made it real personal. When I got a little older, I borrowed some of my dads’ style. I’m sure he would say I borrowed more than just his style but I’ll never testify to that. I copied some trends too but that wasn’t all it was with me. You don't believe me? Read on and you'll see. My Bond swagger is characterized by my custom made suit. The suit is one hundred percent pure merino wool and soft to the touch. It has working cuffs that unbutton and a ticket pocket, which are rare but resourceful. The suit jacket is double vented and silk lined. All these features make it easy for me to move while looking my very best. Many times I don’t wear a tie and sometimes I break the suit up and wear the jacket with jeans or the trousers without the jacket. People...

...Practical reflections on our first weekend. Our time structure is not conducive to process review and personalize feedback. So, after reading attentively all your critiques and weaving in my direct observations let me try to give you a general feedback. 1. The Lewicki book is an excellent read when you need to go deeper into the concepts of power, signaling and the like. A bit academic at time, it is a great reference book when you want to explore more deeply one key concept. Use it, and use it again. 2. Your class is proceeding at a good pace. You are starting to understand how to “expand the pie” by looking at various dimensions beyond the usual obvious one: money in both Colortek and Jesse. You have become more aware of the need to ensure that the “what’s next?” gets addressed: payment schedules, contingency on the state of health of Jesse, contingency on hiring star players [Rui-Esther-Jolanda-Peiyuan had a valid deal structure: they had negotiated a practical implementation step to resolve their contingency-Good]. Keep at it. Larger pie and deal implementation steps. 3. You are starting to become more conscious of the negotiation phases and the associated pressure to manage your time carefully. Gaining mastery on time management is not achievable in two short weekends. Yet I reserve the right to keep “bugging you” on this and you will be forced to work on tight schedules during our next weekend of negotiations. Beyond this last professor induced pain, the best...

...Greetings! Sir J here! Bandcamp doesn't allow a proper way to upload and host an "album" of this type, and I understand that in this great digital age some of you will look at that $2 price tag, scrunch your face, and say "maaaaaaaaane, sheeeeiiiii--- Ain't nobody got no time to pay fo' no fairly affordable sample libraries by Sir J!!" So if you've gotten to these download links without purchasing or receiving a personal gift copy from me (whether it be from word-of-mouth spreading via Reddit, Torrents, Carrier Pigeon, Runic Telegraph, etc.) I would appreciate it greatly if you would express your feedback with this volume by throwing some money my way: PayPal - https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=3BFRST95BUCLL Bandcamp - https://thesirjsessions.bandcamp.com/ These are NOT throwaway sketches or drafts by any means. Many people who have collaborated with me know that I tend to go well above-and-beyond with extra parts and ideas, and the final product usually only consists of 60 - 80% of all my total parts. If the entire amount of unreleased volumes (and original music albums) that I have could be compared to the size of Planet Earth, then this Volume is practically the size of a small forest or a park... and that is a vast understatement. So, it's pretty fairly "big," yes, but I've got much, much more content to go through in creating fresh and exciting volumes! I'd like to give a special shout out to 'SuperiorX' and 'Garpocalypse...

...MGMT 550 Course Project- Business Proposal The Continuation of Stone Goose Brewery Page 1 Executive Summary Earlier in this class I had put together a power point presentation to the Board of Directors of Stone Goose Brewery. Stone Goose has been a very conservative company that had shower consistent growth since it’s inception in 2009. As the CIO of this company, it is my job to look for opportunities to grow this company. An opportunity had come our way to be the sole supplier of micro beer in Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, as well as get into 7 out of the top ten bars surrounding the ball park. It’s a great opportunity for a young company that would see tremendous growth from this expansion alone. The challenge is that the growth pattern goes against the current growth strategy put in place. The key is cost, and one of the biggest cost is advertisement which brings us to the use of Social Media. “ Through the use of Social Media, customers and prospects now have an almost instantaneous platform for discussion of their ideas, experiences, and knowledge.” Jeff Bullas This will be the key for me to try and change the mind of the Board. Word of mouth is one of the most inexpensive forms of advertising there is, and Social Media platforms allow us to get that rolling with very little cost. The rest of this proposal will consist of the plan that will show us how to accomplish plan the most economical, thorough way. Page...

...Jersey Shore Critical Analysis I chose to do Jersey Shore for my Critical Analysis, not because it is my favourite show, but there is a lot of stereotype, and scripted events that relate to the younger viewers. This includes the commercials, and some of the things these characters are involved in. This Critical Analysis will break down this Television series, and will discuss what the characters do to create the image they are trying to achieve when airing this show. Will also discuss the ethical implications this series can have on the public, and how we behave because of this. In terms of gender, this show makes a clear difference in the actions between the men and the women. The men are often in the gym, or getting their haircut together, whereas the women go to the salon together, go to the beach, and there is a clear difference between what they do together. There are now a lot of relationships in the house, and this makes the way each gender acts extremely different. The male is often more dominant in the relationship, and the women seem to be more fragile. This was shown when Jenni was mad at her boyfriend Roger for ignoring her calls, but as soon as she confronted him, he took control of the conversation and immediately put his dominance across. There are many times in the show where they show that the women do have some sort of control or equality in the house, when they often show Mike doing the cooking, and the men cleaning. This could be to show that the women do...

...weather. In cold weather you’ll hear the unmistakable clomp, clomp, clomp of the tires as you drive, with a real risk of compound cracking, effectively destroying the tire. Addendum: Bonnie Blair Holds Court One of the surprises served up by Bridgestone at a welcome reception held the night we arrived was a visit by Olympic speed skater medalist, Bonnie Blair. It took me a few moments to make the connection, but when I did I realized that this petite lady medaled at three Olympics from 1988 to 1994 — garnering five gold and one bronze medals. Blair may have been on hand serving in her capacity as brand ambassador for Bridgestone, but she didn’t talk about the tire company. Instead, she shared details about her experience on the ice, how the sport has changed — blades now partially separate from the boots when taking turns — and offered details about her own family, including her teenagers. Blair spoke effusively about the Olympics, sharing the importance of representing one’s country and racing against the world’s finest athletes. In that regard, she certainly embodies what Bridgestone is all about — it is the world’s largest tire manufacturer with a truly global outlook. Disclaimer: Bridgestone hosted yours truly and a pool of automotive and lifestyle talent for two nights in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The tire manufacturer covered airfare, our hotel stay, and meals. Swag items included a hat, scarf, and a video. ...

Jay Z continues the use of assonance throughout the rest of the verse repetitively using the ‘O’ sound as a rhyming point, when listening to the song the extra enthuses can be heard on the ‘O’. The verse also contains vast amounts of references towards materialistic items with references to champagne, Hublot watches which are well known for their high price tags and also two Rolex’s which Jay Z has famously covered in diamonds.
