Your company wants to create an application that allows employees to dial in from a remote location and using a single connection, access their voice mail, e-mail, and data files. What kind of system would allow this? Describe the necessary hardware and software components.
The application that is able to allow employees to dial in from a remote location would require first most a connection that is connected to the network, does not consist of different class of service levels. All the applications that share the network bandwidth equally. The book discussed if the internet does not support a service class of feature then will not provide the same level of internet connection to all applications. To provide equal tiers of speed to all applications the internet must use a high class of service. With the use of this application it guarantees the high level service of being able to authenticate different callers, the telephone is able to screen the number against a database It is able to recognize the voice for security authentication or for the purpose of being able to forward messages. Also when live or recorded voice is in se the application is able to determine the specs and analyze how to process the call. With this feature the application is able to forward the call to the correct person. It also provides the capability to integrate a smart agent application and be able to provide help with the caller’s request. And capable to receive fax messages forward the fax messages to the correct
