I will say when I first volunteered I was assuming that I would be the one giving the interview to the potential applicant. So it was a bit of a surprise for it to be flipped on me, but I went along with it anyway. Being a stay at home mom it has been a while that I had to come up with a resume so doing it on the spot was a task itself. And then to walk into a classroom, all eyes on me while I sat through the interview process knowing everyone was listening and judging had me a little lost for words and forgetting basic information about myself. However I do think I made it through the interview with confidence and feeling like a strong candidate for the position.
