...Clayton Mosher 3/25/2016 Introduction to Business The three occupations I chose to research were Automotive Body and Glass Repairer, Welders, and Metal and Plastic Machine workers. To be completely honest all three of these jobs interest me. When it came to choosing which occupation interests me the most it was unbelievably hard to choose. But ultimately and without a doubt I chose Automotive Body and Glass Repairer. A collision repair specialist’s job is to repair or fix vehicles that have been in some sort of accident. There are really three main reasons as to why I chose this occupation to write about. The first being, there is always room for advancement. Secondly is the amount of money that is typically paid. And lastly is the simple fact that I enjoy the work. From here I’m going to elaborate upon these three reasons. The number one reason that I chose this occupation is because it’s actually the occupation that I chose in real life. I’m currently attending Crowder College for their collision repair certificate. And as a bonus I am getting my associates of applied science with my certification. This is an added bonus so that if I ever decide that I don’t want to work in the automotive field anymore, I have something to fall back on if need be. The reason that there is always room for advancement is simply because if you don’t like where you are in the company you could always go off and start your own collision repair facility. To be honest it wouldn’t be that...

...1. Advantages and Disadvantages of Public TransportNowadays, many kinds of public transport can be seen on the road, even though people drive their own car. It is usually on time and economical. Firstly, one of the advantages is that using public transport is very economical. Taking buses and trains is cheaper than using private cars. If people have their own car, they have to pay a lot of money for service, repairs, and insurance. It maybe will cost all the money people earn. Moreover, there are many discounts for some individuals, like students, old people, and children. They can get cheaper prices by taking public transport. Students have to go to school almost every day, and they usually take public transport to school and home. It is more economical for students. In addition, a further advantage is that using public transport can preserve the environment. It can reduce pollution, because there are less cars driving on the road, and there are fewer fumes and also less traffic jams. Furthermore, it can increase the spaces in the city, because there are less cars parking. Taking buses and trains is able to keep the environment green, However, one of the disadvantages is that using public transport is inconvenient. It can be crowded. For instance, there are always too many individuals on the same bus in rush hour. Maybe thieves are on the bus they take. The public transport does not operate 24 hours a day. People have to follow the time table, so they must wait for it. Furthermore...

Prejudice, Racism, and Discrimination From the time when Christopher Columbus arrived to the “New World” Many aspects have transformed. Individuals from all around the globe throughout times past have immigrated to America so they could have the chance to live a free and better life. They arrived with the mentality to work earnestly as well as bring in money for their loved ones, but they were undoubtedly by no means prepared to be confronted with the reality that some people in the U.S. at no time wanted them to arrive in the U.S. in the first place. ...How you spent your last holiday (Describe my last holiday) During my last school holidays, I spent a few days at my cousin’s house at Morib, a well-known sea resort. I shall never forget that visit. On the day I arrived at Morib, my cousin told me that he would do to make my stay there a very interesting one. He said that he would make a raft to use it in the sea. Then he would buy fishing net to catch some fish in the shallow water near the coast. When I heard all this, I was very delighted because it was one of the reasons that I had decided to visit my cousin. We then walked up to the beach which is near his house. While we were there, sometime in the evening, the sea looked extremely beautiful. I saw the islands and hills in the distance, the birds in the air, and a few boys and girls playing on the beach. I also saw some fishermen coming out of the water with their catch. All this was indeed very interesting to look at. On the next day, my cousin and I collected some tree trunks from the forest nearby. As my cousin’s house is close to the sea, we decided to make the raft on the beach itself. It took us almost the whole morning to make the raft. We then had our lunch and went to Banting, the nearest town, to buy fishing net. After that we returned to my cousin’s house. In the evening we put the raft on the sea. The water was still high, but the raft floated quite well. My cousin and I sat on it and began to row it by using the oars that we had made ourselves...
