It is remarkable how much one is capable to learn or become inspired by others just by simply taking the time to sit down and have a brief conversation. I learned a couple things from a distant family member, Jannette Romo, just by simply asking her a few questions. Although we are second cousins, growing up, we weren’t close at all. To others, we seemed more like strangers than family, and most people would have never guessed we are related. I chose her for a couple of reasons. First, I thought this interview was the perfect way for us to start a conversation and possibly get to know each other a little more. Also, since we both attend BSU, I see her occasionally participating in school activities, events, etc. and I always hear really good things about her. However, she is a psychology and Spanish major and is graduating next spring but is planning on continuing to pursue her education to receive her doctorates. She is currently working as a part-time collection specialist at Goodwill Finance and is passionate for her Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority. She mentioned that, that was one of the reasons for joining her sorority, to be able to branch out to the community and make a difference in peoples’ lives. She is also an extrovert and would rather be surrounded by people than to be alone, which is one of her biggest fears. She is also pursuing in degree in the psychology field for the same reasons, which is to be there for others, not just physically, but also
