Jared Tristen Padalecki is an actor, husband, and a survivor. Jared was born on July 19, 1982, in Texas to his mom, Sherri, and father, Gerald. Although Jared had a great academic career and planned to go to the University of Texas, after he graduated he decided to move to Los Angeles, California, to pursue his acting career. In 1999, a year after he graduated, Jared won Fox Broadcasting “Claim to Fame Contest”, which led him to going to the Teen Choice Awards, allowing him to meet his agent. Since his career has begun he has played in nine films and nine TV shows. For six year, Jared has now been married to Genevieve Cortese and has had two children.

Jared Padalecki moved to Hollywood and started to film when he was only seventeen, although
