The American government representation was founded on compromise. The Senate allows two representatives from each state while the House of Representatives is based on state population. My federal representative in the House of Representatives is Jim Bridenstine. Jim Bridenstine is a republican that runs on a platform supporting constitutional integrity, economic freedom, and national security. He believes in low regulation regarding the free market. He believes this will create economic mobility. He wants to defund Planned Parenthood and repeal Obamacare also known as the Affordable Care Act. He has stated that “America must return to a health care system based on the free market.” His support for low regulation is founded on his business experience in real estate, ranching, aerospace, and defense contracting.

This means he aligns with their political ideology; however, I do not align with Donald Trump and Mike Pence on most of the social and economic issues.
