The first reason J.J.'s life should be emulated is because he has won numerous awards. He won the Defensive Player of the Year award 3 times in his first 5 seasons (Rosenthal, Gregg). J.J. is a complete monster on the field. He is very deserving of all the awards he has gotten. The Defensive Player of the Year award goes to the player who gets the most votes. This money has been donated to school and sports teams to help purchase equipment and uniforms. Their goal is to raise 2 million dollars. When he was little he played hockey and succeeded at that. In high school, he also was a state champion and record setter at his high school in Wisconsin.
