The case of the disappearance and murder of Jon Benet Ramsey has yet to be solved. During the Christmas Season on the night of December 23rd, a Christmas party took place at the Ramsey home in Boulder, Colorado the person playing Santa Clause this night was a family friend named Professor Bill McReynolds (Camera Staff, 2012). At 1847hrs there was an accidental call to the Boulder 911 center. There was a responding Boulder Police Officer that responded to the Ramsey home where he was assured there was nothing wrong inside the home. On the night of the 24th, the Ramsey family attended twilight mass at the Episcopal Church in Boulder. There was another 911 call placed from the Ramsey home at 0552, this time Patsy Ramsey made the call she told the dispatcher that their daughter could not be located, and a ransom note left and found by her. Once Patties was off the phone with the 911 call center, she then called the family’s close friends who all made their way to the Ramsey home. The friends that Patsy had called arrived during the same time that the responding police officers did. Patsy told the officers that she had woken that morning and went to wake Jon Benet to get her ready for their trip to Michigan that morning. Patsy stated that when she got to her daughter’s room that her daughter was not there in her bed. Patsy said the ransom note was on the back stairway leading to the kitchen. Patsy also told the officers that she had found the note first and then went to her daughter’s room to discover her missing. John Ramsey then told officers that he woke to the screams of his wife. John found her on the back staircase holding the ransom note. The only other family member at home that morning was Burke Ramsey, the older brother of Jon Benet. Burke also stated that he that he was asleep and didn’t wake up until after the officers had arrived at the family
