After Republican House speaker John Boehner made the announcement that he was deciding to resign, tensions apparently arose in the House of Representatives. So called “hard conservatives” have targeted the power of the speaker and want to reduce the amount of control given to them in order to gain some form of authority. “I want to see a change in the culture of Washington D.C.,” stated Barry Loudermilk, a representative who is also a member of the freedom caucus. “The way you do that is not who you elect, but it’s the process.
