John C. Fremont was a mountain man with great achievements. Some of his accomplishments were influencing the Mormons to settle, and mapping the great basin.
John C Fremont was born on January 21, 1813 in savannah, Georgia. His dad paents were Charles Fremont, and Ann Beverly. Later he and his family moved to South Carolina. He got expelled from college for not studying, but he was a great mathematician, and scientist. As a young man he got a job in the military, as a topographical engineer. When he came home he fell in love with as 15 year old named Jesse Benton. But their parents insisted that they don’t get married.
