John Henry Weber, a legendary fur trapper in the Rocky Mountains, lived a full

life from 1779 to 1859. Weber was born in Germany and when he was 28 years old,

he moved to America and became a fur trapper. In 1822, he met up with some

Trappers in the Rocky Mountains and set out on an expedition to St. Louis Missouri.

Later on, he then moved there and to interact and trade with the Indians over there.

Before he moved to America, when he was 21, he was a Captain on a

passenger boat. Later on, He met some guys named David Jackson, Jim Bridger,

Thomas Patrick, Hugh Glass, and Jedidiah Smith. They all traveled to Yellowstone

together and split to two groups after they arrived.
