John Wilkes Booth is primarily infamous for making history through a very evil action. He murdered President Abraham Lincoln on the night of April 14, 1865. Today Booth is widely known for being the first person to murder a US President.
Booth came from a wealthy family of actors, and eventually became an actor himself later in life. He was a very famous actor, and was well liked by many, for his acting and his courtesies, he had once saved another actor who’s dress had caught on fire on stage. During the time of the civil war, Booth was a supporter of the Confederacy, but did not join because his mother pleaded him not to. Booth was wanted, and hunted, for murdering President Lincoln just 5 days after the civil war ended. His original plan
