John Wyclif was and English theologist reformer. Wyclif was one of the most prominent fore runners during the Protestant Reformation.

Wyclif believes the Roman Church had no papal claims in the bible and he condemned pilgrimages, saints, and rituals. He believed that the Church and papal authority disconnected Christians from God and there should be a separation of church and state.
