Robert Lillis Johnny Tremain Johnny Tremain was an English boy in America. He was a silversmith's apprentice for Mr. Lapham and learned also Paul Revere. He ended up injuring his hand badly when he worked. He later was a delivery boy with for the Boston Observer. He got to see many parts of the country, through his work. Johnny learned that even low-level jobs can be a source of pride and enjoyment if you work hard and do well at them. He learned many new skills, like riding a horse, how to talk about politics, and he was taught to draw by Mr. Tweedie As Johnny ages, he becomes less prideful and becomes more modest about himself and his working skills. He is willing to do any sort of work if it
