...The Door pattern originated by Alex Domnikov: -*** The Door is aimed at controlling her after you've started sleeping with her. Other patterns that you've used on her have anchored immense pleasure to you. The Door creates an anchor for the loss of that pleasure. -*** The ideal setting for the power of the door is right after you've had intercourse and you're in bed with the girl. -------------------------------------You're fooling around in bed, and you say, (you) "sweetheart, what's that over there?" (point towards the door). (her answer) "well you know, that's a door, silly." (you) "yeah, you know... I'm a real positive person, but.. I mean, can you imagine.. I mean, you don't know what can happen from day to day, when you think about it in your mind. I mean, what would happen if I walked out that door and the door closed and as the door closed, it slammed shut, and no matter what you did, you could not open the door and you knew that you would never be able to look into my eyes again and you'd never be able to hear my voice again and you'd never be able to feel my touch again." (her answer) Ok, right here is where she starts going, "I don't like this door business at all." (you) And at this time you just reassure her.. "ok, alright sweetheart, you're right. You really shouldn't think about the door and you really don't have to think about the door." So you go back to playing around with her some more. Have some more fun with her, bring her to another orgasm or whatever and...

...The book “Me Before You”, by JoJo Moyes, addresses an issue which seems to be at the forefront of today’s society, the issue of suicide. Before I read this book, I believed that a person should have the right to end their life if they weren't happy with they way they were living it. This book did manage to influence my view and partially change my position because it showed me how much a suicide can affect other people’s lives. While I still believe that people should have the right to do with their life what they want to do with it, now I believe that suicide must have a valid reason behind it. Will Traynor became a quadriplegic after a skiing accident and ever since then he was bound to a wheelchair and a guarded life. Will conveyed in the story that he wasn’t happy with the life he was living, weather it be through the fact of his attempted suicide or his general distaste for life. In this novel I was able to understand and feel where Will is coming from. I wouldn’t doubt that I would feel the same way if I was in the same situation as him. Coming from Will’s point of view, I believe that suicide is just. Before the accident, he was a very active person, he had friends and he loved to be outside. Will knew that he couldn’t live the life he wanted to after he became bounded to a wheelchair. “You only get one life, It’s actually your duty to live it as fully as possible.” (239). After Louisa began to spend time with him, they began to develop feelings for each other. The feeling...

...Classical Conditioning Paper Nicole Young PSY/390 January 23,2012 Dr. Steve Lazarre Classical Conditioning Paper In the mind of B. F. Skinner learning is considered to be a relatively permanent change in an individual or animals behavior due to practice and experience. Classical condition is a type of learning generated by a response from one stimulus to another unlearned stimulus. This form of classical conditioning was founded by Ivan Pavlov and he is most famous for his experiment with dogs and the bell. In Pavlov’s experiment with classical conditioning it involved the salivary glands of canines. The scenario for this paper will teach a dog to not chew on furniture, using classical conditioning and, vinegar in a spray bottle. Classical conditioning was discovered accidentally by Ivan Pavlov, who was a Russian physiologist. Pavlov discovered this form of learning while researching digestion. Pavlov’s classical conditioning is a form of learning through acquired experiences. Classical conditioning is where an earlier or previously neutral stimulus causes a reaction or reflex to a physical response (Olson & Hergenhahn, 2009). As he observed dogs beginning to drool when food was shown Pavlov could then begin to predict the other forms of stimulation. As Pavlov further researched the response from the canine, Pavlov found that when he presented a bell to the animal he could then reproduce the animals’ reaction to salivating with just the sound of the bell and...

...Anna and Jojo Name: Institution: Lecturer: Course: Date: Anna and Jojo Question one Indeed, Anna’s current predicament in her early adulthood stage can be linked to cognitive problems developed during her course of development in the childhood stage and adolescent stage. From the Anna and Jojo scenario, we are able to learn that Anna was subjected to resentment in her early years be her mother. In this case, we learn that her mother instilled in her a negative self-esteem of hopelessness and low confidence. Anna’s mother made her believe that she was an overweight girl who could not offer any assistance to any problems. Consequently, Anna became obsessed with her physical appearance and desired to please her mother by working towards achieving a slim body physique. My knowledge on the cognitive information processing theory suggests that there are three stages of memory involved in a person’s development: sensory, short term and long term. I would associate Anna’s case with the long-term memory stage where information and experiences with her mother became a long lasting memory that would determine her character and the way she related towards her peers and later on, her daughter (Grossen, 2004). In addition, the scenario lets us know that Anna was subjected to further resentment in her adolescent stage as she tried to date a football player. In the case above, Anna was made to believe that she was an ugly person who would not attract any suitors...

...In physics, acceleration is the rate at which the velocity of a body changes with time.[1] In general, velocity and acceleration are vectorquantities, with magnitude and direction,[2][3] though in many cases only magnitude is considered (sometimes with negative values for deceleration). Acceleration is accompanied by a force, as described by Newton's Second Law; the force, as a vector, is the product of the mass of the object being accelerated and the acceleration (vector). The SI unit of acceleration is the meter per second squared (m/s2). For example, an object such as a car that starts from standstill, then travels in a straight line at increasing speed, is accelerating in the direction of travel. If the car changes direction at constant speedometer reading, there is strictly speaking an acceleration although it is often not so described; passengers in the car will experience a force pushing them back into their seats in linear acceleration, and a sideways force on changing direction. If the speed of the car decreases, it is usual and meaningful to speak of deceleration; mathematically it is acceleration in the opposite direction to that of motion. Acceleration is a vector quantity, so it has a magnitude and a direction. The sign of a vector quantity indicates the direction that the vector is pointing. Acceration = dV/dT or change in velocity/change in time Positive acceleration means that the change in velocity over change in time is positive, so the object is accelerating...

...social disorder, individuals are more likely to develop an abnormal habit or dysfunctional behavior. In Sing, Unburied, Sing by Jesmyn Ward, a 13-year-old Mississippi black boy, Jojo, is growing up from a dysfunctional family. He is forced to act as an adult to take care of his younger sister Kayla as he knows his black mother, Leonie, is a druggie, and his white father, Michael, is in jail. More than that, his white grandfather Big Joseph never recognizes him as his grandchild. Parallel to my friend’s abnormal habit, the dysfunctional behavior of these adults is intensified by the distorted society. The irresponsible Leonie and Michael, and the racist Big Joseph are significantly influenced by racist norm, the drug culture and their economic status and impaired family in the society. Starting with Leonie, her uncontrollable drug abuse diminishes her ability to perform her mother role and further isolates her from her children. After picking up Michael from Parchman, Leonie and her kids are on their way back to home. Leonie swallows the entire bag of meth in her car before police officers pull them over and give them a background check. It is also because she is extremely high at that moment, she cannot do anything to stop the officer from pointing a gun at her son, Jojo. She mentions, “And when he (Jojo) starts reaching in his pocket and the officer draws his gun on him, points it at his face... I should scream, but I can’t” (163). This scene demonstrates the dilemma that Leonie...
