Josh Brustman

...track. In the nick of time this boy is pushed out of the way by the friend of his older brother. When I heard this story I couldn’t help but wonder what made this little boy so determined to save his bike? So I found an opportunity to speak with the now and changed Josh Brustman. I didn’t know anything about him other than his near death experience so I decided to interview Josh in class. So today I will tell you about Josh’s background, educational and career goals and a few of his hobbies. Besides almost getting hit by a train Josh’s background goes deeper than that. He was born June 1994 in California, when he was one or two. Now most kids who would have to sit in a car and drive for hours across the country would cry or complain but Josh didn’t say a word. So when he first moved to Ohio he lived in Springfield. Then Josh finally moved to Cuyahoga Falls where he goes to school. Some of the things that Josh likes to do in Falls hang out with his friends. He also plays sports, like soccer and baseball, with his old coaches. Josh doesn’t play sports for the school because he doesn’t really like organized teams; he likes to play for fun. Josh doesn’t really like to work that much so he doesn’t have a job. Josh Brustman doesn’t really have a set plan for what he wants to do for his career or education, but he does have a plan. When I asked him about his future with college he thought about it for a while. He told me that he does want to go to...

It’s been implicated with water contamination, air pollution, health effects… [and] may trigger earthquakes” (McAleer 2013). Music Genealogy

...Nicole Modak Music 100 September 11, 2012 Music Genealogy As a child I remember listening to the typical children’s music. Barney was my favorite television show, so I can still remember the songs that Barney used to sing such as The Clean Up Song. My parents also exposed me to the types of music they enjoyed listening to. My mother loves artists such as Babyface and Toni Braxton. It was our tradition to clean the house while playing music. We would sing and dance to my mom’s favorite songs for hours. My mother also loves music by Josh Groban. She always played his music in the car, which instantly made me sleepy. My father’s favorite artist is Bruce Springsteen and because my father exposed me to his music at such a young age I grew to love the music as well. My dad also introduced me to classic hits by the Jackson 5. As a child I took chorus in elementary school where we sang and learned about music. I played the flute during the fourth and fifth grades. I loved the music in the Broadway musicals I have attended with my family. I have seen The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. The music in both plays was fantastic. My classmates influenced my musical taste because during free time in class teachers would play music. My peers and I would all decide which songs the teacher would play. This encouraged me to listen to the types of music that my classmates listened to even if it was different then the songs I typically liked. I grew up living 30 minutes from New York City...

Klinghoffer is perhaps best known for his work with his friend John Frusciante and has regularly contributed to his solo albums including a joint album titled A Sphere In The Heart Of Silence. Klinghoffer and Frusciante have also collaborated with Joe Lally of Fugazi in 2004 under the name Ataxia. During this short period they played two live shows and released two albums, Automatic Writing and AW II. Despite being released several years apart, these albums were both recorded at the same time. In 2007, Klinghoffer joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the later part of the Stadium Arcadium tour as a backing musician where he provided backing vocals, keyboard instruments and a second guitar to the band. On May 8, 2009, Klinghoffer, Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, Ron Wood and Ivan Neville performed under the name The Insects at a MusiCares event to honor Kiedis for...

...Actus Reus The equation for Actus Reus is, Actus Reus, which is a guilty act and must be voluntary. Actus Reus is actually doing the acting, for example stabbing someone. The next part of the equation is plus Mens Rea, this means guilty mind, which means they had to of wanted to stab someone either by Intention, recklessness or malice aforethought. Strict liability can be here instead, this is where committing the offense alone is enough for you to be guilty, for example speeding, it doesn’t matter if you intended to you did it and that’s enough for you to be charged. Absence of defence is next and finally this all equals crime. Actus Reus + Mens Rea or Strict Liability + Absence of a defence = Crime There are four ways in which Actus Reus can be committed. The first is “Results crimes are those in which the actus Reus is defined in terms of prohibited consequences irrespective of how these are brought about.” This is where causation takes place and it is the actual consequences that are important where physical act links with consequences and results. The next for cases are example of causation. T R v Smith 1959, a fight broke out in a military barracks and a soldier was stabbed, on the way to the hospital he was dropped twice and the treatment at the hospital was inadequate, he later died, did he die because of the wound or the care he received. Romney V. Obama

...Mitt Romney introduces Paul Ryan as his vice president. Refers to the man as a “strong and caring leader that is down to earth, and confident in the challenge this moment demands.” Romney reminds the audience that freedom is what first made America special. He makes an attempt to win hearts and minds by referencing small businesses and graduating students. He implies that Obama made promises of hope and change but did not follow through with them. “This was when we were supposed to start paying down the national debt and rolling back those massive deficits. This is the hope and change America voted for. It’s not just what we wanted. It’s not just what we expected. It’s what Americans deserved!” Romney exclaims. Just then the crowd begins to chant U.S.A. Romney talks of his childhood, and how he was a “baby boomer” in the middle of the country, reminds the crowd of Neil Armstrong’s walk on the moon, Talks of his mother giving up giving up her acting career to marry his father. Josh Feuerstein's Rhetorical Analysis

...Josh Feuerstein is an evangelist who has a big following on social media as a man of God and a spreader of the good word. He has been in numerous talk shows about his hypocritical ideas as well as holding such ignorant points of views about science, homosexuality, evolution and basic government law. However, I want to discuss how he sees evolution. His viewpoints on evolution have been heavily criticized for only picking up strawman’s and false ideas, or just doesn’t understand what evolution is. “Evolution is not a science. Never has and never will be. Why? Because it cannot fit within the parameters and parentheses of science for one simple reason: It was never observed,” Feuerstein explains in his video. “That’s why it’s not science. That’s...

Josh Lieb A Pessimist Analysis

...Okay, the first thing I have to say about Josh Lieb is why is he such a pessimist? He talks on this video like he was spited by the industry but I looked him up and he has had a VERY successful career with the Jimmy Fallon Show. I think his advice was a little helpful just to see the darker side of how the industry can affect people. I think that he is worn down and I don't see a reason why. He says, "If you can be a lawyer, please, go and be a lawyer." My question is WHO gives advice to people to not follow their passion? Life isn't easy and nothing comes with ease. You have to work and sometimes things don't work out or you aren't where you thought you'd be. He's sitting there, with I'm sure a lot of money telling us not to go there. Not...
