The primary strength of the Hot Tea and Coffee is it is a locally established business. The consumers are local neighbors, military, along with the people that support the base and the students going to college. We can get to know them while greeting them as they visit the establishment and cater to their needs. The people have to be more than a number to the business. We can respond to the customer because we offer samples to see which products will generate more revenue. The staff will have continual training on tea and coffee to be able to recommend drinks based on the wants of the handling sales with strong knowledge of current products. Our decor will be relaxed but professional and represents the area. The low start-up costs and high profitability make the shop a good. The location that has easy access and plenty of parking.
The primary problem in competition is from major brands. People tend to go with a known before they take a chance on a new product. We will have to make the business unique enough to overcome the desire to go with the flow. The other problem is there are other local shops that we have to compete against that also tout the same. The hardest thing is to make sure that one's ego does not make the shop a has been by forgetting what made it a success. The last would be the unknown economy and the recession possibility. The worst weakness would be not having a dependable source for the quality coffee and tea, the uses www.coffeebean.com to order online. The supplies will come from www.webstaurantstore.com/coffee-shop-supplies.html To survive the shop will have to look for opportunities to beat the local stores and not being a franchise allows for a quicker adoption of trends. We will offer freshly cooked goods that complement the drinks. We will look for ways to promote the customers to return by putting out tea and coffee samples. ("13
