Walnuts are fruits that are processed while still green or used for their nutmeat when fully ripe. They are mainly consumed since they contain dense reserves of proteins and fatty acids. On the other hand, the iPhone is a smartphone manufactured by Apple Inc. and it is one of the most popular devices. The walnut and the iPhone have similarities based on their structure, functions, and origin. The former grows on trees of the Juglans genus while the latter is a product of the Apple company. In this way, Juglans trees and Apple Inc have the same role in the production of the nut and the smartphone. In addition, the naming of the two parents has a botanical touch as the Apple company has the name of an apple tree. As a result, the iPhone is a fruit of the company while the walnut is a fruit from a tree, which categorizes them as products of the plant kingdom. …show more content…
The walnut has an external husk and an inner shell that protect the flesh of the nut. The shell hardens when the nut is ripe to improve its protective role. On the other hand, the iPhone has an outer case that is made of leather, silicone, aluminum, or titanium among others. The outer case protects the device from scratches and shields the screen from breaking. Further, the internal electronics are protected in an aluminum housing. In this way, both the iPhone and the walnut have double cases that protect the electronic circuitry and flesh respectively.
