Julius Martov: An Important Factor In The Russian Revolution

In 1873 Julius Martov was born to a middle class Jewish family. He later on became friends with Vladimir Lenin. The two stopped being close friends in 1903 when Lenin argued for a small party of professional revolutionaries and Martov wanted a large party of activists. In the end Martov won the vote 28-23 which mad Vladimir very angry. This is how the party of ten became the Mensheviks.
