My Narrative Report
During the first day of my ojt( March 28, 2013) I felt so nervous and to experience this t the same time exited. Nervous beasause it was my first time to experience this type of training. Because normally students are required to take this type of training outside the campus but me and my colleagues are not. We take this training inside the campus. Being a first timer, there are some errors that I encounter, But because Maam cha and our Dean ( Doc. Mario A Fetalver Jr.) they guiding us on how to do things right.

Our ojt (on the Job training) in College Of Arts and Sciences was so exciting even every day we are busy to do things as part of our ojt.. Although we are busy to fulfill our ojt in CAS our effort has a great change because every day we learn many things in our Dean and Faculty members, First is how to entertain a visitors and also the students. Specially on the day enrollment, there are some new faces we encounter and also the transfery students from otheir colleges. Second is to respect the teachers, student and other people. Because during enrollment week your temper and attitudes will be measure because you will encounter different attitudes of students. Third in terms of computer, Ilearn more things from our Dean, Because he has some ideas on how to become perfect our enrollment..and because of this training I cionclude what I want..

Business

...It was a lovely, wonderful and bright afternoon, without any clouds in the sky. The steam from the morning fog had not lifted, giving everything a bizarre quality. The darkness fell, as the colours became washed-out and faded. I entered the park the colours of the different shades of green on the trees catch my eyes. The sounds of the singing birds were so beautiful I could dance around. The trees rustle, their thick, luxuriant leaves cover people picnicking from the golden blazing sunlight, a light breeze cooling them down. A man lying sunbathing on the luxuriant green grass, the light strong fragrance of the flowers wafting through up my nose and the air along with the unique smell of the freshly natural grass.   The sun is shining brightly in the clear blue. A flock of swallows smoothly, elegantly and perfectly on this tranquil hot summer's day. A gentle cool breeze passes by swiftly across the huge park and everywhere. On the far right-hand corner a white truck selling it’s rich, cold and creamy products to a long line of ice cream cravers waiting to be served. You could hear the sounds of the children playing around and the jogger’s footsteps as they hit the contreate ground. Children sprinting excitingly towards the bell of the ice cream van, it is a familiar tune carried on the warm summer breeze, the soft touch of the cream so creamy and delicious dropping down your hands as it starts to melt. Families with swimming costumed children paddle in the paddling pool, the look...

Wandering Islands and Tony Takitani

...Contradictions and nuances of belonging are portrayed in Haruki Murakami’s short story, TonyTakitani, (written in ) and A.D Hope’s poem, The Wandering Islands (written in ): namely the notion that there will always remain an impossible distance between everyone, even those who ought to be closest of all. This impossible distance, however, does not prevent anyone from wanting to close it. Both texts imply that every human has an innate, intrinsic desire to belong with others, irrespective of how unsocial or detached they may seem. Humans are inherently social beings, regardless of what individuals may think. This is portrayed through the fact that Tony initially values his work above all human relationships and believes that he does not want to settle down: “he never saw the need for it. It was impossible for him to form relationships which went beyond the level of the sheer every day… But then one day, without the slightest warning, Tony Takitani fell in love.” This follows (?) A.D. Hope’s concept that “The Mind has no neighbours, and the unteachable heart announces its armistice time after time, but spends its love to draw them closer and closer apart.” Hope implies that it is impossible to find someone who one can truly understand. But all humans are the slaves of their most inherent passions; not reason. This is why they will keep searching for an impossible neighbour. We desire deep human contact, whether we think it or not. The “wandering islands” in Hope’s poem represent...
