Microsoft and VM Solutions for virtual Computing

Week 5 Essay

Virtual Computing
With the virtual world of computing transcending to the cloud, endless possibilities await who ever reaches the top first. Microsoft and VMware are competing to provide the virtual community with the best product. VMware is using the vSphere5 Enterprise Edition to combat the Windows Hyper-V3 Server 8, and does a very good job at that.
Microsoft has taken huge steps in competition with VMware’s productivity and features. In many cases Microsoft has met VMware solutions and has possibly surpassed the competition, and at a more affordable price. However it is in VMware’s advantage that they have been well established in this area of expertise; however Windows is becoming the way of the future and is certainly one to bargain with.

Microsoft
Microsoft’s cloud computing solution helps customers meet their current and future IT challenges. The infrastructure of Microsoft cloud computing provides more choice and flexibility through options of either private or public cloud model depending on which one fits their requirements. Microsoft also offers comprehensive end-to-end management, and free cloud accelerator solutions with valuable out-of-box functionality. As result, Microsoft cloud computing helps companies increase how quickly they can respond to changes in their business environment and how effectively they can manage resources. At the same time, Microsoft cloud computing can help reduce management complexity and cost.
For any infrastructure model that they choose, they will have access to System Center’s total, integrated monitoring and management. This will enable them to manage their infrastructure more effectively than with VMware’s cloud solution. By implementing the Microsoft cloud computing

Tipping Point

...This book is all about how things around will be affected by a simple or small change. This book is entitled “The Tipping Point” and is written by Malcolm Gladwell. I believe this is the best book among the three that I’ve read. For me this is the most interesting book of the three. The reason for that is because the different stories here are more relatable than the stories from the other two books. There are so many things that are interesting about this book. The first thing that caught my attention was the first part of the book which contains the acclaims for this book. Just by reading those lines, you would get the feeling that there are a lot of things that you would learn from the book. True enough, once you’ve finished reading the book you would make certain realizations about life and agree with what Gladwell says in the book. The next part that caught my attention is the part where he talked about yawning being contagious. Before reading this part I already know that yawning is a contagious act, that if one person sees you yawning he or she would also yawn few moments after you started yawning. What I didn’t know is that just by also reading the word “yawn”, a person would also be yawning, and I’ve experienced it first hand when I read this part. I yawned a few times before I finished reading that part, and after reading that part I said to myself that I shouldn’t read when I’m tired especially when there is the word “yawn”. Next thing is chapter 1 when he started...

CARL ROGERS PART I -- DESCRIPTION OF SYSTEM [Before the Interview] "From my own years of therapeutic experience, I have come to feel that if I can create the proper climate, the proper, relationship, the proper conditions, a process of therapeutic movement will almost inevitably occur in my client. You may ask, 'What is this climate? What are these conditions? Will they exist in the interview with the woman I am about to talk with, whom I have never seen before?' Let me try to describe very briefly what these conditions are as I see them. First of all, one question is, can I be real in the relationship? This has come to have an increasing amount of importance to me over the years. I feel that genuineness is another way of...

Should Kids Get Trophies For All Essay

...America have been know to give all kids in a sport a participation trophy for showing up to practices. In society today kids think that if they are in this sport they can get a trophy for just being in the sport. For example if they show up they think that they can mess around and they will still be praised for the things that they have done. The reasons why America has started to give children trophies for participating is so all the kids don’t think that one of the kids on the team is better than them. Another reason of why they do this is so that it is fair for all the students, and the parents won’t become upset with the coach if their child is angry about not getting a trophy. From watching children play sports now to back in the day, children should not get trophies for just showing up to mess around. The first reason why children should not get participation trophies is because they know that they can do nothing and they will...

The Monthly Cash Flow Plan

...Hey, guys! Today, I just want to talk with you a little more about The Monthly Cash Flow Plan. This goes along with basically setting up your, and figuring out your zero based budget. Basically, you use The Monthly Cash Flow Plan as a great resource for you to help you figure out and think of all the different things that you really wouldn’t think of. So I just start to go through these, just fill in the steps. It is very easy to just go through this. Some of this stuff is kind of, it maybe too… I don’t know you dig a little bit too into it. You know, I kind of like to, let’s see. What is this word I’m kind of looking for? I encompass everything into one, more or less-- I do not break it down quite this much. I mean, you can, if you can. The more you can break it down, the better off you are, but, to break it down into, like even for example, I’ll start giving you examples as we go through, like transportation. It says gas and oil. Yes! It is easy for you to break down what you should be spending in gas, but, how do you break down like, tires? I mean, it is just a whole different thing you can do, so for me, I would just put it in a budget as far as gas, oil changes, tires-- all that stuff into one thing. And then there is this one here has license and taxes, **car’s** (unsure) replacement—these kind of things, so if you would just kind of split it that way to make it one big expense instead of like breaking it down individually-- but it is just me. I kind of like I...

8th Grade Research Paper

...Eighth Grade Eighth grade was… interesting. It wasn’t like sixth grade, where I was still figuring out how things worked, or seventh grade where I was finding out who I wanted to be. In eighth grade I knew how things worked, I basically knew who I was, but everything was still so small. I’m still in middle school, nothing really matters a whole lot, I’m just barely a teenager. At first, I viewed that as a negative thing. At first, failure was such a terrible thought, it was scary how easily everything could be messed up, especially in the beginning of the year. I had this new beginning, and it felt so fragile, I wanted to finish middle school the right way. I was worried I would mess it up but, I wanted things to feel important. Throughout eighth grade I learned how to embrace the things that don’t matter. I thought I was ready for things to matter but I still cowered at the thought. I also, hadn’t yet learned how to fail, and that it was okay to just not know. All the lessons I learned this year are pretty accurately displayed through the long “Maybe IDK” sung by Jon Bellion. Towards the end of eighth grade is when I really learned this lesson. I...

Revised Chapter

...Chapter I “How are you feeling now? Do you still ‘see’ those weird things?” “I am fine; for now. I just really hope that it’s working as intended to be.” “That’s good, you’ll be up and well again in no time. Don’t worry - you’ll get used to those implants soon.” “I really do hope so…” The pale girl was still uneasy despite what the physician said, probably just because she was still recovering from her recent operation. It was just like what most patients that have undergone a major one would feel. Everything looked mundane and seemed in order. The room’stemperature regulated, spacious enough, and everything was tidied and regularly checked by sanitary personnel; the flowers on the vase on top of the table beside her bed was frequently changed by her visitors. However, there was something that kept bothering her periodically during her whole stay in the hospital while recovering. She could not describe nor explain it, but there is definitely something bothering her. “Well I’ll be going now Ms. Lilde. Make sure you call any of the nurses immediately if ever something happens again.” “Will do sir.” “I’ll see you again later for your next check-up.” The physician left the room after checking the condition of the girl’s eyes. She was still not allowed to remove the bandages and open her eyes yet but seeing that she’s in a steady rate of recovery, it would just be a short amount of time now before she could finally see the light again. Or so they...

Diary of a Confused Young Girl

...2012, 21:08 I remember all the times where you and I would merge into one another. We would move in and out and through so freely and unconditionally. I was you, and you were me. That's what we were, we were eachother, just one power with the ability to control two. You see, that's what you did to me, you controlled me and you still control my thoughts and capture them just like you used to. There is no love lost between you and I, but that's about all that remains. We could have been one, but together we are dead, apart, we are able to fly freely just like we never could when I had you and you had me. I think of all we were and dream of all we could have been. People always say that some things you never get over. All this time, I wondered, how could something be so powerful? So powerful that it is never overcome? But now I know, only now do I know how it feels to be trapped by a power stronger than you could ever be. Addiction happens sooner than you can say it, but it's not just an addiction, it is a never ending desire for fulfilment, a fulfilment that can only be achieved if you take one too many pills, put too much pressure on the blade, an addiction eats away at you. It leaves you with nothing but everything you once had left in tatters beneath you. Maybe I'd never fully understand it, but maybe I didn't want to. My understanding is enough and it will always be enough for me. I don't know why the thought of you being with anyone or even happy with someone else...

Essay About Superpower

...the superpower of having all the powers in the world but that's more impossible than having just one. As I grew older I started liking invisibility. How cool is it to be in the same room with someone else and they don't even know you are there, Very freaking cool. It's weird I chose this superpower because if I am invisible I can scare people by mistake and I wouldn't want that to happen because that sounds a bit mean, however this super power is is by far the best one. Many people would prefer flying or being super strong but I just find they are overrated. Invisibility can be either really good or really bad. The good part about being invisible is that it...

Jojo

...-------------------------------------You're fooling around in bed, and you say, (you) "sweetheart, what's that over there?" (point towards the door). (her answer) "well you know, that's a door, silly." (you) "yeah, you know... I'm a real positive person, but.. I mean, can you imagine.. I mean, you don't know what can happen from day to day, when you think about it in your mind. I mean, what would happen if I walked out that door and the door closed and as the door closed, it slammed shut, and no matter what you did, you could not open the door and you knew that you would never be able to look into my eyes again and you'd never be able to hear my voice again and you'd never be able to feel my touch again." (her answer) Ok, right here is where she starts going, "I don't like this door business at all." (you) And at this time you just reassure her.. "ok, alright sweetheart, you're right. You really shouldn't think about the door and you really don't have to think about the door." So you go back to playing around with her some more. Have some more fun with her, bring her to another orgasm or whatever and say, (you) "you know, a terrible thing happened the other day. My friend was hit by a truck. I mean, it was awful, by the time they got him to hospital he was dead. I can't believe it, you know? It's almost as if, it would be a horrible thing you know when you think about.." My Philosophy

...through many things that have dramatically changed my life. Most of those things were life-altering events that really made me question everything about myself. I learned how to deal with those events and to look at the positive in them. Everyone deals with obstacles or barriers in life but the thing is how does one overcome them and learn from them? My philosophy deals with the things thrown at us and how we react to them for the better of ourselves. Family Now the obstacles I’ve dealt with involve my family. Let me give you an overall consensus of how we act; whenever something doesn’t go how we want it and/or we disagree with someone we blow up. Now looking at that, you wouldn’t think we would deal with serious events in a positive way, well you’re wrong. In the past 2 years on my mom side we lost my aunt to breast cancer, and grandma to a severe blood clot; then I personally dealt with the loss of my dad due to liver failure. During those multiple losses we didn’t drift apart due to not knowing how to act; we came together and helped support each other mentally and emotionally. We may not have dealt with them the right way but we dealt with them how we saw fit by just letting our emotions out and talking about how we felt. Another way I know I dealt with them is to look back on the positive memories and then physically I used my crafting and art skills to make “little memorials” for them in my room. The one person in my family that I went to the most and just talk to (and...
