Imagine living in a world where families are limited to one child due to overpopulation. A set of identical septuplets must avoid being taken in by the government. While investigating the disappearance of one of their own, they come face to face with danger. Taught by their grandfather, Terrance Settman, who raised and named them: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each can go outside once a week as they share a common identity, impersonating their late mother, Karen Settman. The sisters are only free to be themselves in prison of their own apartment. As a result, the siblings fake their identities, sharing information with the rest of the sisterhood every night until one day, Monday goes missing. When watching a film, we all want to enjoy a likeable character. It’s like we have to relate to the character in order to understand the concept of the film. The central character of the film is very important. For example, if the main character(s) are weak or annoying we will not be interested in watching the film. I personally enjoyed the character who played Karen Settman in the film, “What happen to Monday”. The acting by Noomi Rapace, who played all septuplets’, was phenomenal. The notion of the seven sisters working together to survive is what made the storyline unique. Although, Noomi played seven roles, each character had the chance of sharing their story and distinctive traits. Specifically speaking, the septuplet where different in a way, one was more uptight, they other sisters where either, angry, rebel, the sexiest, smart, shy or protective.
