Senior policy fellow at the Center of the American Experiment, Katherine Kersten, in her article “Undisciplined” (March 19, 2018) addresses the flaws of Minnesota Department of Human Rights plans to “reduce black and Native American discipline rates.” Kersten then counters that just reducing the types of actions that can result in disciplinary action will do more harm than good, and students should be disciplined no matter their race.
