I am a senior high school student at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Secondary School and a member of the non-profit SHSM program. I have worked for approximately a year at Kiranpal Goods Carrier Ltd. in Brampton, ON. At this company I was an assistant dispatch and some of my responsibilities included answering phone calls, constructing letters, organizing trip envelopes, and making payrolls. Through my experience at Kiranpal Goods Carrier Ltd., I have gained many skills such as good communication skills, organization skills, the ability to provide good customer service, and problem-solving skills. In the future, I plan on to go to university and pursue a career in the medical field. I plan to show my commitment by showing up to my placement everyday on time and doing all tasks I am asked to do. I can improve myself by avoiding distractions that will get in the way of me fulfilling my duties.

I want to work for this company because it is related to my future career choice. It will allow me to get an insight on my future work atmosphere. Also, I want to gain some more experience in working with different kinds of people by assisting them with my effective communication and organization skills as I did at Kiranpal Goods Carrier Ltd.

I would wait 24 hours to calm down and rethink the conflict. If the conflict is still bothering me then, I would reach out to the person and arrange a small meeting and talk things out by telling them about my point of view and listening to their point of view. If I do find that there are still some contradictions, then I would make a compromise, where we both agree. For example, once in grade ten, I was assigned to work in a group. In my opinion, the workload was not distributed equally. So, the next day, I arranged a small meeting at lunch with my group members and my teacher and came up with an equal workload for each
