Up,

On/off

Down

Presione entonces el botón de on / off.

Presione a continuación (antes de cinco segundos) los botones UP y DOWN simultáneamente.

06 Motor o controlador cortocircuitados.

Manufacturing Process Gold Chain

...Platinum Chain Making Tino Volpe • TIFFANY & CO. History The definition of chain is as simple as interlocking links of metal. If the metal happens to be precious metal, then we consider the chain jewelry. In preparing for this paper, I began my research with the understanding that finding information on chain making, especially historical information, would be a fairly simple task. However, after looking through old copies of jewelry history books, surfing the internet, and interviewing people with a long history in the industry, I arrived at the conclusion that the history of chain making is either a well kept secret or just not of much interest to anyone. Precious metal chain for jewelry has been around for a long time. Basically when man first began working extensively with gold back in Neolithic times he found that certain metals, most notably pure gold, were extremely ductile and could be hammered and stretched to a great degree. With the invention of wire, man could now take something rigid like metal and turn it into something flexible like chain. Chain making has always been, up until the middle of the 18th century, a labor-intensive time consuming hand operation. It was a well-versed art and most books on jewelry will demonstrate basic techniques on making chain by hand. Before automated wire drawing machines, the craftsman had to hammer down and pull metal through succeeding smaller dies to form thin wire. Once the wire was pulled down to the needed diameter...

Investing in Platinum

...Platinum as an investment option With the volatility in the stock markets and recent recession on the minds of the investors, alternative investments have assumed great importance. Investing where money will be safe is the new mantra. Obviously, commodities have become the new investment option knowing the great Indian fascination for the metal; gold and silver have been invested in widely. But today, the prices of gold have also skyrocketed. Silver is not as much preferred as gold. So, an alternative to gold has to be searched. Is platinum a viable alternative? Today, platinum is known as rich man’s gold. Will it appeal to the common man? Platinum is inherently, costlier than gold. Compared to gold, platinum responds very differently to economic stimuli. Past history reveals that the price of platinum runs in a similar curve as gold, palladium and silver and platinum has always led the bullish sentiment in the markets with palladium. The only downside is the volatility. Historically, platinum has been more volatile than gold or silver. In a strong bull run, platinum/gold spread widens considerably, sometimes reaching figures of about more than $150-$200 occasionally in the last twenty years. It is a fact that in time of extended economic boom, platinum tends to outperform gold and silver but during period of recession, platinum is not such a strong performer. It has been observed that investment in gold increases, maybe due to the psychological attachment of the investors to...

...is an important factor because it affects turnover. This makes the business’ proximity to its customers important. For example, a vegetable shop has to be located near its customers as vegetables can deteriorate if they do not reach the consumer immediately. The relationship between the population composition, productivity and economic opportunities has to be analysed including current and potential competition. Raw materials It is important for raw materials to be readily available. However, raw materials do not have to be at the place of establishment as they can be transported, provided the means of transport is cheap, efficient and reliable. Raw materials are divided into two categories namely: natural raw materials (for example, platinum used in making car catalytic converters) and raw materials that occur naturally but are cultivated (for example, wood). Labour availability For a business to function effectively, one of the contributing factors is the quality of labour. There should be enough skilled and unskilled labour in the area in which the business is to be established. The labour costs of the area and laws should also be considered. For example, a car assembly business cannot be located in an area where the skilled labour that can operate the machinery is unavailable. Capital It is important for capital (money used in starting the business) to be acquired at favourable interest rates if it is to be borrowed. For example, interest rates may differ in urban and...

Although Real Madrid is currently ranked forth of top fifteen professional soccer clubs in 2003, followed by Manchester united (1st place), Juventus (2nd place), AC Milan (3rd place). (See Appendix: Figure 1) To catch up with competitors, Real Madrid set three interrelated goals: (1) increase financial flexibility; (2) assemble a team of top players; and (3) expand Real Madrid brand across a variety of channels. This paper will address the goals of developing local players to save the enormous forward fees and to soften financial bills, and enhancing mobile & social media to expand internationally and to increase number of Real Madrid fans as well as revenue. SWOT Analysis The club recognition, number of fans and number of victories are the most important strengths of Real Madrid. On the other hand, the team strategy of acquiring the top soccer players can be seen as a weakness in that the club spends millions of euro to focus on team’s performance. However, the team should maintain this acquisition strategy but also focus on developing in a more efficient way as Brazilians and Argentina soccer teams do. The development of new talents and extension of the recognized brand to other soccer-related activities are opportunities for Real Madrid that could improve their revenue. The balance...

Stomp

...‘Stomp is not just theater or dance, nor is it as rarefied as that amorphous genre known as performance art. Instead, it is a mix of all three forms.’ (Breslauer 1994). STOMP is a group of artists, who uses simple building blocks and every-day objects to create something complex, a strong effect performance which involves music and movements. Through sinks, stiff-bristle brooms and garbage bins as percussions they give rise to intense rhythms and energetic choreography. The idea behind ‘Stomp’ is universality. The show has no words, no traditional melody. They communicates through rhythms and energetic movements. Although the set, the costumes and “instruments” used in the show suggest a messy scene, the rhythms result clear and well-articulated. Everything is thoroughly studied in details. Each artist, each movement is perfectly coordinated with each other. The use of everyday items makes the show even closer to the audience. ‘Household and industrial tools become percussion instruments as everyday life is enjoyed and explored in this wordless musical.’(Lynch 2012) “Walkers” it is a little part of their show where three artists walking with aluminum bins under their feet. They give rise to a really intense rhythms stomping and drumming on them in a thoroughly coordinated order. It has both a strong visual-impact and a great sound effect. I found it well-related with the performance which I have been working on. We decided to not have music as a background because we wanted...

Rendezvous Essay

...10-05-15 Behran Kirkan 1.Æ Rendezvous Essay “Rendezvous” is a short story written by Daniel Ransom in 1985. In the story we follow two persons with different views on life that are trying to pursue different outcomes by acting in specifics ways, that is Kim and Payton. Kim is a fifteen year old girl who has run away from home. Though she dosen't see what she has done as running away from home, as told in the text “She dosen't think of it as running away. Merely proving a point”. She wants to teach her parents a lesson and show them that she can live her own life, without her parents help or them interfering. Payton is a young man who drinks a lot and like to listen to loud music while driving. As seen in the text “Shoved between his legs is a cold can of Budweiser that stains the crotch of his tight tan slacks”, “He opens a fresh of Bud” and “The saxophone solo is over now. The drums are back. He feels young, strong, invincible”. The fact that he drinks while driving kind of symbolises his carelesness. He loves the drums from his radio, it makes him feel alive. He has dirty long hair and a cobra tattoo on his left biceps. He's a man that dosen't care about other people's feelings and what consequences his actions are going to be. The atmosphere of the story is very tense, dark and heavy. Payton really fits this atmosphere, unlike a fifteen year old girl. While he is driving increasingly fast in the Interstate and listening to the beat of the drums, the tension raises and gets...
