▪ Essay Writing (part one) ▪ ▪ ▪ SECTION 1-10 • Its very important that you go back to re -read your essay before handing it in. • identify a clear point and state your thesis. • provide a analytical and analyze and support your thesis. • establish and associate the material. • change and edit so your sentence is useful and error-free. • when you write a sentence make sure its to the point. • always give three examples in your paragraph so the reader knows what you are talking about. • In the introduction of the essay always write a sentence that will capture the reader. • topic sentence 1 and 2 and 3 must contain three supporting point and particular proof. • the summary always includes general closing remarks. • benefits of writing a traditional essay is that you become a better writer. • it will also enhance your skills as reader and listener. • most important is it will make you a strong thinker. • when you don't know what to write about jot down ideas and it will come to you. • the point of writing is oftentimes a method of discovering new ideas and even changing them. • when you talk chances are you don't talk to everyone the same whether its your boss,your parent or your best friend or with a young child. • theres always a different approach for each individual you talk to. • to communicate effectively you must constantly change your speech to meet their audience and their purpose. • the more you practice writing the better you will write and the better your skills will become in the future. • its good to spend 15 minutes to just write in your journal. • don't look for spelling errors or organization just write what comes to you,should be at least one page. •
