...whites from uniting. If they were successful, white businessmen and others with money would not have been able to continue to flourish. The others existed to keep niggers in their place. Nothing has changed, only the methods and the illusion of inclusion. So don't get mad when some Black folks don't fall for the bullshit or do something that makes you a little uncomfortable. BE careful, because your hood is showing. Sorry that this fella having white parents and a little change makes some white folks think he should shut the fuck up. That has been a tactic for a few decades now. Give a nigger some money, so when his people are mistreated or brutalized, he will shut the fuck up. Sorry that some of us aren't drinking the white is great koolaid. Thanks for the post Miss Katie..............

...Long-time popular brand Kool-Aid has been succeeding in it’s market for as long as most of us can remember. In 2011, Kraft and Kool-Aid were largely focusing marketing strategies on their growing Hispanic base. “This year [2011], Kraft says it will triple spending on Hispanic marketing over the last year…Kool-Aid, in a first for any Kraft brand, has allocated the majority of its 2011 marketing budget to reach Hispanics.” (Newman, 2011). However, in 2013 Kool-Aid’s marketing strategy gets another make over. “The print and TV campaigns are geared toward moms…” (Beverage Industry, 2013). Drew Neisser, gets the inside scoop with Senior Director of Refreshment Beverages at Kraft, Tiffany Tamplin, stating, “Kool-Aid discovered that its Facebook fans were predominately 18-year olds and not moms who actually buy the product.” “While working with LoudDoor, a market research and audience-targeting platform…[they found further] ways to engage with moms outside of Facebook” (2013). They did this through their development of their ‘photobomb’ application. This allows the Kool-Aid man to be able to ‘photobomb’ during any photo-op. This application has an astounding 150,000 downloads and generating thousands of social interactions and many new streams of marketing for a fraction of the cost. Kool-Aid is able to remain successful, like other successful business because of a few key factors. First, they understand their metrics and their target market. Marketing decision should be driven by...

...Have you ever been stereotyped? Maybe you were, but you did not know it. To know if you were, you would first need to know what a stereotype is. A stereotype is a false picture or idea in many people’s minds about how all members of a certain group look, think, and/or act. Stereotypes exist about members of almost every possible social group, including racial, ethnic, gender, religious, and political groups, among others. A person is said to be “stereotyped” if someone outside of that person’s particular social group, whatever it may be, thinks about him as being like the group’s stereotype, without knowing anything about him; conversely, we say a person is “stereotyping” another if he thinks in stereotypes about people in a certain social group, again, whatever it may be. Most stereotypes are negative and offensive, a few are positive, and some are neutral. A negative stereotype shows a group in a bad light (For example, African Americans are violent.); a positive stereotype shows a group in a good light (For example, “… Asians are good at math” (www.ask.com); and a neutral stereotype is one that is neither good nor bad (For example, Blacks loves watermelon). Perhaps, the most prevalent stereotypes in the US concern all the different races and ethnic groups who live there. An examination of some common stereotypes regarding African Americans, Hispanics/ Latinos, and Asians in the US will demonstrate that negative, positive, and/or neutral stereotypes exist about all three...

...Raelene Akgul (Page 1) My Poetic Self Concept I wrote the self concept poem without much thought and from my opinion, without excellent deliverance, yet it felt good, every word, because as I plunked away at the keyboard I felt this overwhelming pride of who I was as a child and who I am today because of my childhood. Ironically, I also unexpectedly felt a rush of sadness pour through me as I wrote the poem. It was if I had already memorized and recited it a million times before, because it came from my soul so fluid and so real. Thinking wasn't an option for me at that moment, my memories and emotions had all the control. Like a feeling robot typing out the words read aloud from another entity, I felt frozen and captive to thoughts that were racing through my mind and heart. Remembering is so bitter sweet for me. So many powerful memories on so many levels, a weak person might crumble under the pressure of such historical personal experiences. I wallow in them almost as if I need to remember who I am and where I came from. This need I cannot suppress. It seems to be embedded in the very fibers of my whole being, entwined and siblinged with my soul, I feel disconnected, dicontented, and disenchanted daily yet I need to remember as if it were yesterday. As a child, growing up was tough. I lived in a home of seven siblings, an overly abusive step-mother who's name was Remona, and my father, Larry. My siblings and I were raised to believe that we were worthless, dumb, ugly...

...Welter-Weight of plant growing: Water VS other liquids Purpose of Project The purpose of this project is to see if there is a difference in how plants grow based on what they are watered with. By watering five different plants with five different liquids and measuring them daily we will prove or disprove the hypothesis. Problem of the Project Different liquids contain different additives and nutrients that could potentially affect the growth of a plant. This project will reveal how different liquids affect the growth of plants. Various research has been done that will support the problem of what liquid can stimulate the growth of a plant more successfully. By measuring each plant after watering them with the six liquids, the liquid that allows the plants’ growth will result in an increase in length. Research Question What are the effects of skim milk, water, Vitamin Water (orange gatorade), coffee (Yuban), Minute Maid 100% Apple Juice on pea seeds? Research Predictions Coffee will do the best because of all the protein and nutrients in it. Hypothesis: If the same type of seeds are planted in a controlled setting and different types of liquids are used to “water” the seeds, then the liquids that have the right nutrients for the plants will cause the seeds to grow. Experimental Design: The independent variables - The 5 liquids chosen were: •Skim Milk •water •Vitamin Water (Orange Gatorade) •Black Coffee (Yuban) ...

...MORE ADVANCE NOISE FOR QUIET “An intriguing and potentially lifealtering examination of the human psyche that is sure to benefit both introverts and extroverts alike.” —Kirkus Reviews (starred review) “Gentle is powerful … Solitude is socially productive … These important counterintuitive ideas are among the many reasons to take Quiet to a quiet corner and absorb its brilliant, thought-provoking message.” —ROSABETH MOSS KANTER, professor at Harvard Business School, author of Confidence and SuperCorp “An informative, well-researched book on the power of quietness and the 3/929 virtues of having a rich inner life. It dispels the myth that you have to be extroverted to be happy and successful.” —JUDITH ORLOFF, M.D., author of Emotional Freedom “In this engaging and beautifully written book, Susan Cain makes a powerful case for the wisdom of introspection. She also warns us ably about the downside to our culture’s noisiness, including all that it risks drowning out. Above the din, Susan’s own voice remains a compelling presence—thoughtful, generous, calm, and eloquent. Quiet deserves a very large readership.” —CHRISTOPHER LANE, author of Shyness: How Normal Behavior Became a Sickness 4/929 “Susan Cain’s quest to understand introversion, a beautifully wrought journey from the lab bench to the motivational speaker’s hall, offers convincing evidence for valuing substance over style, steak over sizzle, and qualities that are, in America, often derided. This book is brilliant...
