Does anyone know what Korea’s biggest export is?
Somebody might think its automobile or electronics but it’s actually their popular music.
Korean popular music or Kpop refers to a musical genre fromSouth Korea, which includes a wide variety of musical and visual elements
According to CNN Towards the turn of the 21st century, the K-pop genre began reaching out to other regions of the world as part of the global Korean wave.
Music production, music video making and artist promotions define the 3 specific sections vital to the Korean popular music industry.
Music production is vital to the production of KPOP music
. Music producers who have collaborated with various K-Pop idols include many recording artists from the American music community, such as Akon, Kanye West, will.i.am., Snoop Dogg and Teddy Riley. Andrew Hampp of Billboard magazine states that "The American hip-hop community's recent interest in K-pop has helped open a lot of doors for other artists and managers stateside."
