AKR Events is a full-service event and venue management and consulting company located in Kedah as their headquater and Kuala Lumpur as their branch. AKR Events offers complete event planning & management services, programming & production, entertainment & special event coordination, high-quality activities, and event promotion.
AKR Events also offers event and venue management consulting services including long-range planning, program and policy development, needs assessments, training, and general management assistance. Their services are available throughout the country to help companies, organizations, fairs & festivals, families, event venues, and resort properties present highly-effective events. AKR Events started as an internet café in 2009 and they had only ten staffs. In 2010, AKR started to be an event company and hired more than 20 staffs to work for them.
Mr. Syed Mohd Johan Rizal Bin Dato' Paduka Syed Unan Mashri is AKR Chief Executive Officer. He has five years experience in event and venue management. As an event company they hired Nissa Ahmad as Head of Corporate Communication to help the company achieve their goals.
The objective of the company is to assure the most spectacular event of a client’s choice, businesses are reaching to them to effectively plan and conduct their events. Their services are designed to meet their creative needs as well. The company have travel a lot to establish their company name to the world.
The main event, Paintball World Cup Asia was attended by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad as their special guest and it was one of the best event and they felt honored. AKR events hope that they will been recognized by all over the world.
The Paintball World Cup Asia
The history of paintball in Malaysia began barely 8 years ago when the first paintball game was held in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. The paintball fever only started gaining momentum from 2006 onwards when the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Tourism Ministry took an interest in the sport and promoted it to the masses. Started in 2006, the championship is the third in the series and is rapidly gaining popularity and participation from various parts of Asia and even Europe. The excitement was thick and palpable at the tournament which took place last weekend at Xtion Paintball Park, Bukit Jalil. AKR Events is interested to organize paintball as a main event and to show the public that this game can be one of the main sport in Malaysia such as football, badminton, and hockey. Nissa Ahmad as a Head of Corporate Communications she has to make a good relationship with the media and sponsorship to promote and introduce the game. The Corporate Communication Department will send newsletter to the media which is their relatives and friends. These newsletters include information about paintball activities which may interest public. Each month, AKR Events have their own target which is they have to organize any mini events such as annual dinner, charity event, new product announcement, fashion week event and BMX International event. The Head of Department have to gain more contacts and specialize paperwork and proposal to create the event. It is to elevate quality for the AKR Company. As an event company, they have to make paintball as one of the reputable sports in Malaysia. AKR Events has this strong relationship with Ministry of Tourism and also government. This is to make sure this sport can be acceptable by the society either in Malaysia or overseas.
