A new era has begun for one of the most respected franchises in all of sports. The Kyrie Irving era has officially begun for the Boston Celtics.

Looking back on everything that has transpired in Cleveland within the past month, things have seemed to have escalated quickly. But, after the drama of guard Kyrie Irving requested a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers, about a month later he finds himself entering the exact situation he desired -- to be a franchise player. On top of that, with the Boston Celtics.

Unfortunately, everyone is going to form their own perception of this eerie scenario. Someone who has been very vocal about Irving's trade request is TNT NBA analyst Charles Barkley.

The fact of the matter is certain players earn their right to voice their discomfort or displeasure with their situation in all sports, not just the NBA. Irving is one of those guys and he's still only 25 years old. Personally, I believe this was the night everything changed.
