Quinceaneara: A modern day rite of passage
Spanish traditions are synonymous of the catholic faith and Quinceaneara is one of the most revered in the lives of young women. When a girl reached 15 years old, it is time for the family to traditionally thank God for His blessings then present the girl to older women for advice and counsel on womanhood.
