Lactalis Group
Lactalis is a multi-national dairy products corporation, owned by the Besnier family and based in Laval, Mayenne, France. It is the largest dairy products group in the world, and is the second largest food products group in France, behind Danone It owns brands such as Sorrento, Société, Bridel, Président, Rachel's Organicand Valmont.

Lactalis owns 198 industrial sites in 55 countries. 17 of these countries are USA, Poland, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Spain, Scotland, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Ireland, Portugal, Switzerland, Croatia, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Australia and as of 2011 Canada and South Africa. Lactalis mostly produces yoghurt, butter and cheese and powder milk, baby formula and milk drinks.
Lactalis-Ukraine
«Lactalis-Ukraine» (or early CJSC "Besnier-Ukraine") was the first in country to begin financing of the raw materials procurement. 200 collection locations were created in villages, which conformed veterinary and sanitary standards. Each location has cooler and mini laboratory to define the qualitative and quantitative indicators. Today, farms and private yard has more than 400 coolers.
In 2007, Lactalis acquired one more company - LLC "Molochniy Dim" (Pavlograd), which was the next step in Group development in Ukraine.
Managed by the French owners, all factories got full technical and technological "rebirth". According to policy of quality guarantee and food safety of products, all employees has been trained on the system of safety
