1. What is the name of your festival?|My music festival is going to be called Violet festival. 3. When will you hold the festival? Date, start time and duration|I will hold the festival in the summer time as this I when most people are free to venture around. 4. At which three venues could the festival take place?|My first venue option is wildflower meadow which is a huge field near Hackney. There is already a lot of events that take place their because of its size. My next possible venue location could be Hampstead park only 4 miles for central London. 6. What other attractions could be at your festival?|My first attraction will be a bungee ride, where you are launched in the air attached to a bungee cord in a cart. You will be strapped down securely and launched nearly 100ft in to the air to add to the buzz and vibe of a festival - http://www.sdlrides.com/html/reverse_bungee_hire.html - The picture here shows previous festivals using the attraction.Another possible attraction is the “Atmosfear” ride. Explain how you conducted your survey.|I asked 20 of my form classmates for their views. I gave them a copy of my questionnaire. 18 replied. The results were as follows:R&B 12 people were interestedHip-Hop 5 people were interestedClassic 1|
Summarise what you found out from your survey.|Judging upon the results of the survey, I found that the majority of people would like an R&B genre present at the festival. 5 people replied with Hip-hop which will mean a Hip-Hop artist will be present at the festival.|
Logo and strapline|
Explain the design for your logo. |My logo represents the music festival in a very suitable way. I added in the colour violet to show the audience how vibrant the colour Violet is and how It could be metaphorically used to describe the vibe at a music festival. I also put in two guitars in to the logo to symbolise that the festival would be based around acoustic and rock music. I didn’t not want to include too much in to the logo as it would become more complicated and hard to understand for the audience who are intrigued by the idea of the festival. |
