She wrote dedicated this novel to Najma Sultan Mahmood who accepted Islam 30 years ago and started to live in Pakistan after she leaved England but novel is not on her life. She wrote this novel to force us that we must think on issues that we never face before and must change the way of our thinking and analyzing the life as this book shows. She actually focus on the youth behavior with their parents when parents believe on faith but youth focus on their desires. I recommend this novel to others because I learned from this novel how to be patient in our life as Khadija Noor the mother of Maryam.
Theme: faith vs desires
Thesis: when everything is lost your faith always with you but desires destroy the life of person.
The author started her novel by telling the map of house of one rich person and the map of house of a poor girl. And then the circumstances how they met and marry and how she realize her mistakes at the end but then it was too late when her mother died, she realize desires are nothing but faith is everything.
Strengths
* She told about the woman who accepted Islam and her believes and faith. This creates inspiration among the Muslims. * In this novel it is also told that all the persons are not same. When a Pakistani man cheat the mother of the Khadija, she also thought that every Pakistani is cheater but with the passage of time she realize her mistake and got married with Pakistani man Mazhar. It is very strong point to change the thinking of people. * She gives a lesson from this novel how we can change our Believes and change our life. * In this novel the author tried to convey the message to the audience especially young generation who don’t give the importance to their parents and want to do everything, no matter it is right or wrong. The way that they adopt is wrong. As Maryam did and every time blamed her mother for such a poor life that they were spending. We must thankful to Allah at what we have. * The person who have strong faith and believe always feel relax and have no fear for losing something but the person who have only desires but no faith will always have fear to lose everything. This is the main point of this novel and its 100% true. * She also tried her best to convey the message that every person should realize his mistake until it will be too late and will have nothing in his hand.
Weaknesses
* She just emphasized on the rude behave of girl. She also emphasized on the boys behavior and their desires also. * She told about the Khadija Noor faith and believes but not mentioned about the Mazhar for whom she accepted Islam. Was he also have strong believes and faith as Khadija Noor did have?

Umera Ahmad born December 10, 1976 and popular in Urdu novelist. Umera Ahmad published her first Urdu digest such as Khawateen Digest. She received various awards.
Conclusion
Lahasil is basically a novel of harsh realities of life. Being ambitious in our life we often go on wrong track. I learned how the wishes destroy one’s life. We must have happy in our lives for those things which we have and Thanks God for those blessing instead of complaint to HIM.
