What to do when you miss the late tax filing deadline?
People have to go through late tax filing due to many reasons and then they get into trouble. There are many reasons why this happens are some are we forget about it, or we were confused about what to do. We took advice from the wrong person or the IRS did not reply to our email.
You might have to pay a lot of money and you thought you cannot pay them all together so waited to file. Do not worry if you have done that.
Unluckily, this is an issue which will not disappear on its own unless you file.
Before it is too late, you need to understand what you can do and get rid of the problem. Here is what you can do.
File as Rapidly as You Can
The first thing you have to do is not waste any time but gather papers as soon as possible. You should keep in mind that there is big chance for your file to get …show more content…
The more you delay the interest rate increases more. You have to pay more penalties for delaying. You will be asked for money for each additional day you cannot pay by the IRS. It is very costly to basically borrow money from the government.

Take advantage of E-file

For avoiding late tax filing, use E-file. If you are running late, you do not want to waste more time. With e-file you perhaps want to be able to get into your data pretty fast. E-file can help you complete that task. If you send mail to the IRS they take a long time to read and process your return.
Make up a Payment Plan
It is a very famous reason to do late tax filing because the people need to pay money. We are habituated to delay things off that we cannot pay but there are better choices.
Those who do not file for this cause can think again. Late tax filing and particularly not being able to get together all the papers could be an issue. The way to solve this is by giving as much as money you can pay at the moment and make up a payment plan or think about it

...Control: Effects on Crime and Violence The topic of gun control in the U.S becomes more popular in the wake of horrific gun crimes and mass shootings. , but tHowever, the public might be surprised to find that the intended results of gun control laws might prove to be historically ineffective in preventing future gun violence from occurring in America and that there is perhaps a more suitable solution for the problem.. In order to properly understand the breadth of the gun control topic, it would be wise to also properly understand the history of gun controls in the U.S. as well as what gun control actually is. Gun Control seems to have a slightly differing definition depending on which source is defining the term. For the purposes of this essay, the following sources will be used: dictionary.com defines the term “gun control” as the “government regulation of the sale and ownership of firearms”, while Merriam-webster’s website defines gun control as “regulation of the selling, owning, and use of guns” (Gun control, n.d.). Each of the definitions states that the regulation of guns by the unspecified government would seek to control the sale, ownership, and/or use of a gun. In relationship to the United States, there have been several famous and infamous laws written to target gun control in one way or the other. To some, the history of gun rights and gun control in the United States might be likened to a boring and overplayed record. The difference in what that this paper contains...

He's My Brother

...He’s My Brother Leona Sinclair PHI 107: Philosophy of Human Conduct Professor: Kevin Lines December 13, 2010 He’s My Brother Introduction: Many people believe that same-sex marriage will destroy or diminish the righteousness of marriage between a man and a woman. It is my true belief that same-sex marriage will have negative effects only on people who are extremely religious, or extremely afraid. Many religious sects have been ferociously fighting against the legalization of same-sex marriage. In every article, column, and essay that I have read there has yet to be one single individual, or group of people that are entirely against the legalization of same-sex marriage unless they are tied to a church. It is unfair and unconstitutional that same-sex couples that have been together for many years, lives together and may even have children are not allowed the same benefits of an opposite-sex marriage. Church and state are supposedly separate, until God fearing representatives of the U.S. decide that they are against an issue they may not like, or agree with and then, and only then, it is "ok" to instill the morals of the church into the state. The issue aforementioned has been strongly debated not only in individual states, but by the country as a whole. Most states (38 states total) have adopted laws and policies that allow the union of same sex couples and in a few instances even grant them marriage licenses, although they are not recognized by a single...

Dhb Industries, Inc.

...CASE 1.10 DHB INDUSTRIES, INC. Synopsis David Brooks founded DHB Industries in the early 1990s. Throughout its existence, the principal operating unit of DHB was its Point Blank subsidiary that manufactured bullet-resistant vests for use by law enforcement and military personnel. Sales of protective vests accounted for more than 95 percent of DHB’s revenues each year. DHB and its free-spirited founder were often in the media spotlight. In 2005, a large number of the company’s protective vests were recalled due to alleged “life-threatening flaws.” A few months earlier, Brooks and his top two subordinates, the company’s COO and CFO, were widely criticized when they realized huge stock market gains after selling the majority of their DHB stock. Brooks, alone, realized a stock market gain of more than $180 million when he sold two-thirds of his total ownership interest in DHB, an interest that he had acquired for a small fraction of that amount. In July 2006, Brooks was ousted as DHB’s CEO by the company’s board. Over the following year, a forensic investigation of DHB’s accounting records revealed that the company’s impressive operating results from 2003 through 2005 had been the product of a massive accounting fraud. Brooks and his two subordinates had routinely and blatantly altered DHB’s accounting records to achieve the earnings targets that he had established for the company. The primary account manipulated...

The Evolution of Wire Services.

...Abstract This paper explores the origin of wire services, major new agencies providing those services, and the evolution of the service over its history. Wire services are necessary for the facilitation of news internationally. The methods of providing news from a wire service, or news agency, to other newspaper, periodical, radio, television, or other communication outlet has evolved throughout history. This paper explores the humble beginnings of wire services and highlights several of the major wire service providers, including Reuters, The Associated Press (AP), United Press International, Agence France Presse (AFP), and Bloomberg. The Evolution of Wire Services: Then and Now Wire services are integral components of international communication. Also referred to as a news agency, a wire service is an organization “that sends out syndicated news copy to subscribers by wire or by satellite transmission (Mish, 1997).” With origins dating back to the early 1850s (McPhail, 2010), wire services have not always conducted communication transfers with advanced technology like satellite transmissions. From telegraphy to teleprinters to radio, the process of getting news from a wire service to its dependent news and other providers has evolved substantially throughout the years. The conception and continued modernization of wire services can be attributed to various agency titans, including Reuters, The Associated Press (AP), United Press International, Agence France Presse (AFP)...

Nursing's Practical Solution

...patients will result in a primary care provider shortage of 20% by the year 2025 (Poghosyan, Boyd & Knutson, 2014). With many new physicians choosing to pursue specialties due to the promise of a larger salary, hospitals and clinics will need to start looking to other health care providers, such as nurse practitioners, to fill this role. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the role nurse practitioners play with regards to the Affordable Care Act by examining the history and qualifications of nurse practitioners, the current practice of nurse practitioners, the basics of the Affordable Care Act legislation, and potential nursing challenges. History of Nurse Practitioners The role of the modern day nurse practitioner emerged in the late 1960’s out of necessity for more primary care providers. When Medicare and Medicaid were enacted during this time, there was an influx of people with medical insurance but not enough healthcare providers to take care of them. Many physicians were also leaving primary care to pursue...

An Introduction to the Computer Security Problem

...Essay 1 What Is There to Worry About? An Introduction to the Computer Security Problem Donald L. Brinkley and Roger R. Schell This essay provides an overview of the vulnerabilities and threats to information security in computer systems. It begins with a historical presentation of past experiences with vulnerabilities in communication security along with present and future computer security experiences. The historical perspective demonstrates that misplaced confidence in the security of a system is worse than having no confidence at all in its security. Next, the essay describes four broad areas of computer misuse: (1) theft of computational resources, (2) disruption of computational services, (3) unauthorized disclosure of information in a computer, and (4) unauthorized modification of information in a computer. Classes of techniques whereby computer misuse results in the unauthorized disclosure and modification of information are then described and examples are provided. These classes are (1) human error, (2) user abuse of authority, (3) direct probing, (4) probing with malicious software, (5) direct penetration, and (6) subversion of security mechanism. The roles of Trojan horses, viruses, worms, bombs, and other kinds of malicious software are described and examples provided. In the past few decades, we have seen the implementation of myriads of computer systems of all sizes and their interconnection over computer networks. These systems handle and are required to protect...

Professional Accounting in the Public Interest

...Chapter Four Professional Accounting in the Public Interest, Post-Enron Purpose of the Chapter When the Enron, Arthur Andersen, and WorldCom debacles triggered the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX), a new era of stakeholder expectations was crystallized for the business world and particularly for the professional accountants that serve in it. The drift away from the professional accountant’s role as a fiduciary to that of a businessperson was called into question and reversed. The principles that the new expectations spawned and renewed resulted in changes in how the professional accountants are to behave, what services are to be offered, and what performance standards are to be met. These standards have been embedded in a new governance structure and in guidance mechanisms, which have domestic and international components. The influence of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) will be as important as that of SOX in the long run. This chapter examines each of these developments and provides insights into important areas of current and future practice. Building upon the understanding of the new stakeholder accountability framework facing clients and employers developed in earlier chapters, this chapter explores public expectations for the role of the professional accountant and the principles that should be observed in discharging that role. This leads to consideration of the implications for services to be...
