2.4 Critically evaluate how a human resource plan can contribute to meeting an organization’s objectives
Human resources plan is always created with proper contribution of major and key workers of the workforce. In some cases this includes the entire workforce as well. Without proper contribution for employees, human resource plan result in fruitful outcome. Every organization has its own objective driven with key factors such as growth, money, profits and sales. we need to be clear about the motive of your organization. Despite whatever the motive is a well created and implemented human resource plan has significant contribution to the development to meeting organizations objectives. Taking example of St Peter University, we can say with a well devised SHRM plan, the University has a better control on the levels of uncertainty and sudden changes that take place in the number of academic and support departments. The University makes sure that the Vice- Chancellor should report to university council. Being having a tradition managerial hierarchy, University had a control on each school and their departments. Furthermore ever since proper HR policies have started to get implemented at this university, employees have had a high morale level leading to better incomes, and better output via means of promotions, salary increments, and job rotation. The University believes in team working and as a result of their HR policies and plans they can easily build a team of highly motivated employees that work together for long term fruitful results. Properly strategic HR plans have helped the senior managers and executives to manage good control of the University’s departments taking care of employee contribution and high morale
