Leela Crosby lives in Bayside, New York with her parents Michael and Mangala, her younger sister Uma, and her pet dog Molly. She was born and raised in Queens Village, New York and is currently a junior at Bayside High School. Leela very much enjoys reading, drawing and doing volunteer work at her church, all of which she does in her spare time. She is also passionate about women’s rights as well as that of animals and the LGBTQ community. In addition, she is quite fond of the Latin language and even participates in competitions in which she’s tested on grammatical concepts along with the history and culture of the ancient Romans.
