Companies have harnessed this technology and used it to produce actual size prototypes that can be physically held and interpreted before producing. These prototypes can also benefit by being a “dummy” for creating injection molds. Indeed this technological advance is a great hype and improvement in the world of production saving time and money in the long run; however, the question is raised, can this epidemic be harnessed by everyday users in their home?
