I made a connection between habesha and American language. Libee migbar translates to developing a heart in English. Around age thirteen the habesha would go through an emotional maturity. This transformation is similar to what we puberty. An exception is that America recognises it as a maturity of the body instead of maturity of emotions. For instance, Tewolde vandalized parking meters, looted Halloween baskets, and played many pranks. Post libee migbar Tewolde distributed money to people and places in need. For example, Tewolde financially supported the homeless man he met at the library. After going through libee migbar Tewolde was new man. Libee migbar and puberty came from different countries but with a similar concept.

It alerts you to be even more cautious on the road. Drunk driving is the cause for one-third of traffic-related deaths. While driving on Highway 212 an illuminated sign caught my eye. The sign read “drunk driving causes 1 in 4 deaths”. Can you believe it? Twenty-five percent of fatalities are caused from this crime. Unfortunately, Tewolde was the unlucky person that was killed by someone driving while intoxicated. At the start, the mood of the chapter was tenacious and jubilant because of all the success Tewolde had with his cleaning business. Once I read how Tewolde life came to a sudden end, the mood instantly switch to grim and mournful. I am humbled by Tewolde’s short but amazing life.
