The LSI will help an individual with their behavior and help them identify their leadership style, management style, and their personal style. All of these styles will help show a person’s individual effectiveness. How a person thinks and their behavior will contribute to a person’s performance at work. There are people that can have a effect on a person that they will change their behavior and their thinking which in turn can effect a person’s effectiveness. Before a person decides to make changes they need to make sure that their behavior is being supportive or if it is not being supportive. There has been analysis that has been done in the past to assess the properties of the Life Style Inventory. Within the Life Style Inventory there are twelve subscales that are considered to be internally consistent. Item total correlations that are generated need to be acceptable of any estimates that are convergent and discriminant of validity. The correlations that are among the Life Style will indicate construct validity. Among the analysis it showed that among the twelve Life Styles there were broader orientations instead of the original that were stated.
