Heroes are people who make an impact in the world and influence people lives. Lili Elbe is considered a hero because she did the impossible in a time where people who were different were considered insane. Lili was one of the first documented transgender to ever have a sex change operation. Lili was born in 1882 a time that was not evolved enough to understand the concept of being anything other than cis and straight. When Lili was a little boy way before she could even think about transitioning she was known as artistic and gifted. She later went on to become a painter and
